Crocodile Taking Down Wildebeests

- Some African Wildebeests getting chased down and eaten by some crocodiles. I happen to see this first hand in Kenya Africa.
This was shot on a digital camera with an incredibly long lense and no tri-pod as we had to move fast to try and catch the scene at hand.
Well done and thank you SO much for not skipping all of the bloody/cruel parts. Those parts are also part of “nature” and so many make the decision to “save us from ourselves” by editing. Well done!!

Crocs to human: hey come closer for a really good close up shot.
He made it. He was home free. He took his first step to freedom, and go pulled in. A half more second the croc arrives and he's still alive and instead, the other dies. Now the other one is free and he is in Croc Heaven. Oh, and what a bad way to go. Getting eaten alive, and drowning at same time. OUCH!

Interesting thoughts. My apologies for the shaky camera, this was filmed using a digital camera and a SUPER long lens. We were out of the vehicle and didn't have a tripod handy. I was just trying to catch the scene at hand.

Many of the commenter's and the camera man don't realize that the Wilder beasts that stop once they reach the shore line are being held in the water by Crocs. They may be just be to small to pull the beasts back in to drown them. Crocs tire too and thats why others gang tackle their prey.

Maybe that’s true in some cases, but not the case in this video. The wildebeests stop at the bank, for one thing because they’re tired. Secondly because it’s difficult getting out of the water because they’re tired from swimming.
