A lot of people who are not regular listeners to Kpop don't know that Psy is a legend in Kpop. Gangnam style is the only song that broke out into American radio buts it's definitely not his only song, he's been around since 1999, after Gangnam style he started his own record label PNation and was busy making music for other people
Exactly! And after Gangnam style he had many singles Daddy, Gentlemen, New face… His last album was released in 2017. That’s why Im happy that Suga slapped the sht out Gangnam style Psy so people are more interested in his music

Suga said he thought he was only producing and not rapping on the song or even appearing in the mv . Psy wanted to meet Suga, which suga normally doesn't do when producing with others he said he usually does it by email, so I guess after meeting psy it lead to this fun mv. They are now great friends. It was really nice to see Suga having fun.

Psy has done so much for the music industry I'm very grateful for him. Also we should remember Psy's music career did not start with Gangnam Style its just how most of us found out about him.

Finally I wanted to say I've been waiting for Psys comeback for ages and if it wasn't for him ba k in 2012 I would've not gotten into kpop. Secondly I love how he worked along with yoongi and got him not only produce but also to be in the MV but to also dance aswell. Yoongi id my all time fav rapper in the entire music industry and someone I can truly relate too. Thirdly I am in love with the cowboy concept and vibe of the MV and I have always loved the wild west vibe. The whole choreo is just like Psy (if you seen his earlier qork you will k ow what I mean) the beat is upbeat and just makes me want to get up and dance along and another thing "that that" chorus is just so catchy as it has been stuck In my head since I first heard it in the teasers. Also I was just smiling and laughing thruout the entire MV. Also it might just be me but Yoongi kinda looked like Tae and jin in this MV too. Also yoongi mentioned in a vlive he did that the car in this mv was the same model as the car in Daewitchita MV.

Psy has released other songs after Gangnam but we live in the West and I didn’t know till I started paying attention to KPop. He owns PNation his own label with a stable of artists. I think maybe you should listen to another track from Psy where he is singing.
They had such fun making this. Two consummate professionals working together to produce this totally addictive song. Yoongi sent PSY the music and PSY was keen to do it but he sneakily managed to get Yoongi to perform in the song and then the mv. Every time I see SUGA jump in my heart rate goes up. Suga was only lip syncing that part where Psy is laying on his lap. Suga has a low register when he sings. Shadow proves that since he does sing-raps in the chorus. Yet when you watch the BTS episode making of this video, you can see how much fun they all are having while filming the MV. :)

Actually Psy studied in Berkley College of music...He is very vocaly trained and he did this nasal sound on purpose because it's suppose to be a kind of comic song, as he discuss it with Suga (you can see it in the behind documentary). You can check some of his other songs to find out he doesn't need any advice like that ;-)
yeahhhh this is the reaction i love the most!! just love the joy and that that is a masterpiece. i'm not a fan of them but of course it's the coolest collab of the year in my opinion. i just love the visuals, choreography, song lyrics, style and rap but also the sound. it was ace. i was screaming when i watched it for the first time, it was just funny and epic 🙌🔥

I’ll try the sample voice lesson. I lost my confidence in my ability to sing after I tried to do some singing and it didn’t go well. Now I’m worse off than before I started singing in public. I had been told I had a good voice since I was a child, but it’s hiding now. I won’t say it’s gone!
