It's fun to me how every one of Juicehead's videos has bugged out content in his game. It's a save that's seen so many mods swapped in and out that there's floating Gunner heads and all-pink clothes and stuff like that just everywhere.
Compared to some other Bethesda titles, FO4 saves handle uninstalled mods like a bad organ transplant. Sometimes, its just hard to let go of a character profile lol.

So with that understanding, I THINK Fallout 4 needs mods due to its pathetic attempt at being an RPG and with every major faction in the game being tied to the main story.

Honestly can you even play fallout 4 vanilla at this point? Mods are so good I basically have my dream fallout game. I love the Boston area and the mods that expand the entire commonwealth like linking the subways, expanding the Sewers, expanding the glowing sea and marshland, one day I’m going to expand the entire game making an all in one mod that expands the downtown area, the wetlands, the beaches, the forests, the glowing sea, and the subways. I’ll make it so the sewer system is a vast network of service tunnels allowing for underground travel, expanding the subway system so you can access a little train cart to travel to different subway networks, making the glowing sea more than a barren wasteland and more of a graveyard of twisted steel and lost battles, make the forests a dense wilderness that nature has reclaimed, make the marsh and flooded swamp with vines and branches ripping apart buildings and fusing with trees. It’s a passion project of mine I’ve been developing for about 2 years, testing and learning the creation kit. I don’t know if I’ll ever release it tho it might just be a proof of concept more than anything
MadMan I’d want to show it off hopefully by the end of 2021. I should be able to work on this full time once I get put on disability and then I’d be able to polish everything for a 2022 mod release. I actually started to work on this mod way back in 2018 but scrapped the whole project because I just didn’t have enough time. Now I have all the time in the world lol. Hopefully Fallout 4 is still relevant by then
Hey good luck Barlos i hope your mod succeeds, it would bring a lot more life into the game. Just a small request but would consider porting it to xbox when you finish. If you don't want to or can't due to limitations i completely understand.
Suggestion: sometime early next year could you do just a general top 100 of the best mods for any purpose that just generally improve the game. Wether it be weather, environmental enhancement, weapons, power armors, custom quests, clothing, map changes, bug fixes, improved in-game system modifications, etc. Just the top general 100 mods for the game in your opinion. I think it'd be really nice because there are so many amazing old mods and new mods and having a nice concise list of them would be useful.
I would also like to see a top ten mods of various categories. Like he did last time i would enjoy seeing an 11th category featuring top Update that came out in 2020
A top 100 takes a lot of time to produce such video with at least a decent quality. Its not only the research but downloading, installing and testing, than the footage shooting and reshooting, not counting the crashes or realy bad bugs you could encounter. Than writing the script to a point you get all the features, mod authors, games etc right. Audio recording and cutting that stuff together. And in all that time new mods will come out. Than the amount of time you will give the mods. 5 mimutes per mod? = 500 minutes aka 3 hours length of the video, allmost no body would watch that video, also dependimg on its length upload problems may occure, force him to reupload the video. Not to mention if it fails in the last 3 minutes of YT rendering it also forcing him to reupload. I don't think it would be a bad idea but please take in consideration that Juice has more stuff to do than one video for months. I mean from the amount of work this would even go beyond what Camelworks does and look at his schedule only focussing on a smaller scale.

Also he doesn't necessarily have too make it one video he could break it apart into several smaller vids and release chronologically. Also if he spends 10 times the amount of time editing as the video is long then that'd be 30 hours of editing time, so if he spends 6 months on this he could easily spend a hour or less each day editing and still easily get it done
Fallout 4 is becoming an amazing modern HD survival sim with fantastic FPS and RPG elements. The lack of overbearing lore and story actually aided this.
christian merchant yeah, go to the mod section of fallout 4. On ps4 you can’t get those nods because of Sony’s policy. But on Xbox it’s pretty much good

JuiceHead, Thanks for still covering Fallout 4 MODS for us. My wife and I still play the game. We also tried Fallout 76, but my wife kept dying of radiation because she couldn't find enough radaway, and she didn't want any help. I have done pretty good with my character though, and I love my camp. In Fallout 4, I think people would really freak out at the really cool settlements I've managed to build.
I would like to see a settlement overhaul where they get attacked from multiple fronts, and building/defending them actually matters. Maybe siege elements, special npcs that can provide perks to the player when you build a special room/house for them, buildings/walls taking damage from enemy missiles/heavy attacks. NPCs assigned to damage control duty. Garages for NPCs to use power armor where they return the armor to after the defense, also settlements actually defending based on how well defenses are built and defenders are armed.
I was literally looking at half of these mods while I was setting up for a new playthrough with FOC and the America Rising mod. I skipped over half of them, but seeing them on display has made me change my mind. Thanks for the showcase.

On the topic of nude mods, I personally find it annoying that female characters get more mods for themselves compared to male characters, like the C.U.T.E author and a couple of other degens authors
I'm always looking for WWII weapon mods or mods adding older weapons, FFNV has alot of them but it lacks in alot of ways, custom animations and such, I WOULD LOVE older more antique weapons in FO4 like the Lewis gun or the bren
my favorite mod ever is the CROSS Mojave Manhunter. Its just a clothing mod but its so well done and there are a lot of customization options its just so great.

gotta say, the Post-apocalyptic homemade weapons mod, is one if not my favorite of all time, i always loved the idea of handmade guns, but fallout 4 guns get boring after you replay it. i wish there where more hand made weapon mods to extend even further these improvised guns!
One of the best weapons mods to come out in the last 6 months on Xbox was the AKM project 2.0. It was great being able to build practically whatever AK you wanted and even use the correct caliber for it. Then one day for no reason it poofed out of existence and my dumbass deleted it off my mods list for a new playthrough without knowing. I mean the AK complex is pretty good but there's not nearly as many models you can create as well as there's no real 5.45 style AKs besides the AKS74U which fucked up my recent STALKER style playthrough. So did all those awesome weapons merge mods when they disappeared too

QUESTION! So after playing a ton of FNV and FO3 i decided to buy fallout 4 and have been playing for a good 50 hours. Overall the game is alright and i decided to download some mods via the FO4 main menu. After finding some mods and playing with them, i felt like there werent a good amount of mods on the main menu screen. So now i want to use Nexus to download my mods but i was wondering if i would have to disable/delete all the mods i got from the main menu and download again on nexus, or do i just need to download mods on nexus and keep the ones i already got from the main menu?
As far as I know, infinity ward and call of duty people don’t care about people porting their models and stuff to other games. People posted some call of duty weapons to fallout new Vegas as well. It’s cool.
I would really like a Foregrip for the Red Army PPSH-41 submachine gun, and a reload speed increase, Cause that regrip animation post bash animation is slow and it's bugging me, the reload speed is atrocious and needs a fix. And I'd love a Mosin Nagant Avtomat from the Hunt Showdown game as a Mod in Fallout 4 that weapon is awesome, Imagine that in default it's automatic and you need ammo strips so you reload in fives, and then you switch to a modern drum magazine and you get to reload Normally, add a stock, barrel , receiver, optics, muzzle and bayonet mods to it and you've got yourself a relatively lore friendly weapon, maybe some cosmetics too.
Hold on, Activision actually gave explicit permission to port stuff from Call of Duty into Fallout 4? I wasn't aware of that. I'm not a Call of Duty fan at all, but that's still pretty damned cool that they'd give permission for that. Even Bethesda doesn't give permission for direct ports across Fallout games. Anyways, I'm kind of surprised that there aren't more pipe-weapon mods for the game. I mean, you'd think that guns that are a couple hundred years old would be rusted through and not function properly anymore. Yeah, it's been established that groups like Gun Runners are still manufacturing new weapons, but we never see them established in the Commonwealth, so you would think that people would be using more cobbled-together weapons like the various pipe guns. I've said before, but it would be interesting to see a mod that brings in a Fallout-styled interpretation of the weapons seen in stuff like "Kids Next Door", since they were also cobbled-together weapons, and we have a lack of pipe-gun equivalent energy weapons other than the Laser Musket.
FYI, This stuff is not imported with the agreement of Activation (no company would ever do this as it sets precedent for losing the rights to their I). These mods are the equivalent of kids uploading music onto youtube and putting "I DONT OWN THIS" in the description. Get them while you can, but since they where covered here expect them to vanish soon.
Thats what i was thinking. Some times, mods that add stuff from other games just offers the mod, but you nerd to own the other Game and extract the models by yourself
Sad that some companies generously allow their assets to used for modding, but the company that makes Fallout refuses to allow assets from games in THE SAME SERIES to be used.

Been a while since I played, but if I understand that Encounter Zone Recalc mod, this suggests that on Vanilla, if the first thing any FO player did was to just run around like a loon to every single location ... and THEN go back and play the game ... nearly everything in the world would be capped to a super low level? Really? Surely that can't be right.
I wont be returning to this game until it has a mod for the story but again good video and the mods always make it look fun until you try going for the story then you just quit

It's pretty simple to monitor all that though, just revert to the save before the mod was installed.

And I'd love a Mosin Nagant Avtomat from the Hunt Showdown game as a Mod in Fallout 4 that weapon is awesome, Imagine that in default it's automatic and you need ammo strips so you reload in fives, and then you switch to a modern drum magazine and you get to reload Normally, add a stock, barrel , receiver, optics, muzzle and bayonet mods to it and you've got yourself a relatively lore friendly weapon, maybe some cosmetics too.

Hold on, Activision actually gave explicit permission to port stuff from Call of Duty into Fallout 4? I wasn't aware of that. I'm not a Call of Duty fan at all, but that's still pretty damned cool that they'd give permission for that. Even Bethesda doesn't give permission for direct ports across Fallout games.
Anyways, I'm kind of surprised that there aren't more pipe-weapon mods for the game. I mean, you'd think that guns that are a couple hundred years old would be rusted through and not function properly anymore. Yeah, it's been established that groups like Gun Runners are still manufacturing new weapons, but we never see them established in the Commonwealth, so you would think that people would be using more cobbled-together weapons like the various pipe guns. I've said before, but it would be interesting to see a mod that brings in a Fallout-styled interpretation of the weapons seen in stuff like "Kids Next Door", since they were also cobbled-together weapons, and we have a lack of pipe-gun equivalent energy weapons other than the Laser Musket.
The same person that made borealis made a grass mod for it called veldt which I feel like you'd wanna check out if you haven't already

This stuff is not imported with the agreement of Activation (no company would ever do this as it sets precedent for losing the rights to their I). These mods are the equivalent of kids uploading music onto youtube and putting "I DONT OWN THIS" in the description. Get them while you can, but since they where covered here expect them to vanish soon.
Thats what i was thinking. Some times, mods that add stuff from other games just offers the mod, but you nerd to own the other Game and extract the models by yourself
Sad that some companies generously allow their assets to used for modding, but the company that makes Fallout refuses to allow assets from games in THE SAME SERIES to be used.
Can’t wait to get a pc, I’m barely going to start to save up for one. Any recommendations? Such as a price range I should go for and anything else? As of June, the 8th, 2021 the AKe Volk is no longer on Bethesda.net mods for Xb1. It was the one I wanted to try out the most...oh well.

Been a while since I played, but if I understand that Encounter Zone Recalc mod, this suggests that on Vanilla, if the first thing any FO player did was to just run around like a loon to every single location ... and THEN go back and play the game ... nearly everything in the world would be capped to a super low level? Really? Surely that can't be right.
The big question here is...what mod is conflicting or not working properly to give some of his npcs a purple texture.

I wont be returning to this game until it has a mod for the story but again good video and the mods always make it look fun until you try going for the story then you just quit
