Season passes in the OG days were $50 for the entire year of support. Blackcell battle passes are $30 per season…. So $150-$180 for the whole year depending if they do 5 or 6 seasons

Not a fan of blackcell I personally feel like the skins could’ve been mastery operator skins the camo mastery grind is the only thing you can grind would’ve been cool to get mastery operator skins like in vanguard
Looking at the battle passes is so exhausting. Just knowing how long it takes to get a single battle pass token and knowing plenty of people will have the same skins and weapon blueprints as you so there's no real incentive to be suffering trying to unlock everything.
It doesn’t take that long to get BP tokens tho? A good round of zombies gives about 1 3/4ths of one, and multiplayer every about 3-4 games gives one as well. This isn’t even including 2x BP tokens
@burreattoe 3-4 multiplayer matches (that mostly go to time limit) is way too long just to get a single token and keep in mind most of us don't want to play COD for that long because it gets boring and there's other games to play.

If things dripped glowing green, or something like that I’d prefer it. I’ve never bought Blackcell yet but I’m not wholly against it.
This battle pass looks pretty neat overall. Even without Blackcell, I do think some of the base battle pass content looks alright at worst. I don't mind the idea of Blackcell. Technically speaking, it is more valuable than the sort of standard they usually follow with the bundles. And at the end of the day, it does remain largely cosmetic, entirely optional. And we live in an age where dlc maps are free, dlc guns are easier to get. This just has the side bit of, of course them doubling down on microtransactions for cosmetic stuff.

Out of all the characters in the world they give us the same character with a different skin? How unique 😏 There are some very well loved characters and guns that get no love. Example would be Roze. She hasn't got a bundle pack in ages. Many guns without tracer packs. Im still waiting on a Lockwood 680 tracer pack. There is like one to its name. I do like some things about this season, but man. To see Snoop again is mind boggling. What the hell is he doing to get this type of love?
I’m not against going crazy with cool skins, tracers, death effects. I just really hate that probably 90% or more of it is locked behind 25$ bundles and $30 blackcell pass. If there was a balance between having awesome stuff earned through challenges, the same way we get weapon camos, and then some that are paywalled, I’d be more okay with it. But it just seems that almost everything is paywalled and nothing is earnable through actually playing the game and completing challenges.
A major problem with Blackcell is that they pretty much exclusively make the skins gold. Like I don’t need any more gold skins I have a tonnn of them. Want them to do something different
I was fine with blackcell when I could use my cod points to purchase it. Now, you have to spend 30 dollars CASH to get blackcell. I was very disappointed when I saw that. However, I do like the skins and camos/tracer effects. I'll be getting it lol

I already bought an updated version of the game got the vault edition. I'm done giving activation anymore money. They don't care about Competitive COD so I'm cool.

Not all black cell passes were good. I would say that MW2 S3, 5, and 6 were the best ones released. I didn’t think this season in MW3 was worth it either. The drip on the skins weren’t that cool looking for me.
It’s insane to me how years ago I was very much a fan, and they’ve done so much to turn me off that I wish they would let the game die already. We are past beating a dead horse now.
I know this is a hot take, but I think the Blackcell doesn't deserve as much hate. It's a pretty good deal all things considered. For $30, You're getting the battle pass bundle for $20/2400 Cod points, and still getting those 20 tier skips, as well as a $10 pro pack on top of that, that gives you 1100 cod points AND variants of around 20% of the items in the battlepass, that often look very good.
Gotta love getting garbage stuff for ten dollars to make it so if you want better skins you gotta spend thirty dollars even though it's already a seventy dollar game and like if this was fortnite all those bundle skins would probably be in the bp
