Trains at: Coventry, WCML, 24/08/16

A very hot but enjoyable afternoon spent at Coventry station on the West Coast Mainline where we see plenty of services from Virgin Trains, London Midland, Cross Country and freight from DB Cargo UK
I thoroughly enjoyed my time here and this is definitely a station that I'm coming back to and I will definitely be spending more time here and I highly recommend this station to anyone who hasn't been here before.

Its quite interesting to see how everything's changed. I'm looking at what rolling stock went through the area so I can build a realistic model railway timetable on my layout.

What is the purpose of the beeping noise made by the 350 as it arrives and departs. Is it a warning thing or is it caused by a mechanism of the train?

Great Train Spotting as always! :-) Coventry is 10 minutes away by train from Birmingham Airport. Did you see the statue of Lady Godiva as well?

does London midland still have the 153s and the 170s or is it the 350s taking there place

They only have a handful of 170 and 153 units left now, most have either gone to Northern or Greater Anglia
