I’m going to wait for the series to end before making a full review on it.
fair enough
It's his creation, he can do whatever he wants.
agreed, doesn’t mean people can’t talk abt it though
Not when he is getting paid for it.
Now the story is a product and gege have to please the consumers demand
@lain5858 what? That's not true? He's not our slave wtf
@@InkChara
That's why he is getting PAID.
Or do you think GeGe drawn and writes for free?
@@lain5858 he's getting paid for something he can end any time and start a new one if he wants too
Quit your yammering.
i can't wait to yap again
he kept that sukuna fight on too long rushing everything, we didnt even get to see tengen 😭
With regards to Hakari vs Uraume, i think the general criticism of Takaba vs Kenjaku taking front stage got to Gege. People were angry that another fight other than the main sukuna fight was in the spotlight, so Gege likely assumed that people would think the same with Hakari vs Uraume and just decided not to do it. As with any huge manga, especially at the size of Jujutsu Kaisen, it's always damned if you do, damned if you don't. Gege likely could've handled the whole thing better, but without actually being him, we can't understand the pressures he got with regards to Jujutsu Kaisen.
nah facts, probably what led to him not wanting to expand and work on jjk anymore tbh
People never grateful when gege have a heart
? 😂
JJK characters are the definition of “Wasted potential”
What wasted potential. Who wasted their potential?
@@faith4657 Megumi, Yuki, pretty much all of the Kyoto high school students except for Todo, Ino, all of the people who fought Sukuna except for Gojo Yuji Maki and Yuta. Tsumiki served her purpose as a plot device to get Megumi to give up so I’ll give it that but we had no prior connection to her except for random flashbacks, that lack of connection makes her death somewhat meaningless to the audience so I’d also consider that wasted potential
@frozenburrito2.087 How is megumi wasted potential? The man literally didn't even get a chance to be strong before sukuna gunned for his body. Yuki, a special grade sorcerer, wasted potential? Yea, they weren't that strong, but Mechamaru was amazing to see what he could do. All the ppl who fought sukuna? What makes them wasted potential? You can't just throw that word out for every character unless they actually show potential, which was wasted. For megumi's sister, I agree that was meant to be much deeper. Gege even said that was a mistake on his part, wanting that to be much more emotional.
@@faith4657 Gojo and Sukuna themselves state that Megumi’s potential is wasted.
Yuki may not have wasted potential as a sorcerer, but as a character she falls short. She’s cool and partially contributes to Geto’s fall, but even the ploy of her being a vessel isn’t explored as much as it could have been.
Mechamaru was great, you’re right, but everyone else is kind of boring. Miwa can’t even swing a sword now, Momo has cursed objects manipulation but uses it just to scout around, I’ll give Mai an exception because her purpose of giving Maki growth was achieved but she still definitely could have been stronger. Kamo’s potential is hindered by the fact that he’s a human who doesn’t know reverse cursed technique with blood manipulation. He doesn’t have unlimited blood like Choso does. There’s also that one dude who showed up with Todo in the beginning of the Mahito fight, but I forgot everything about him except that he saved Nobara, so good on him I guess.
The entire Sukuna cycle is boring, and doesn’t do anything to make the plot more interesting. It’s just a bunch of characters throwing their lives at Sukuna. I’d say those fights are entertaining, but from a storywriting perspective nothing exceptional goes on.
@frozenburrito2.087 True, i agree about the sukuna cycle, but you have to understand the mfo sukuna is strong even while weakened. They came up with plans to try weakening or stalling him as much they could.
And to most of the points, it may seem wasted that most of the characters are meant for cqc fights or just fights in general. Some have very support, like CTs, and fight in their own ways. Yuki was a powerful sorcerer wish she lasted, but her being a vessel was mostly shown to have beef with Tengen. Overall, it is what it is, I'm still with gege on how he chooses to end things. Not everyone can be like one piece, even me.
I might write an entire paragraph about this so sorry in advance but I don't think it'll be completely ruined.. like the merger happening requires pretty much everyone alive to die. Defending Kenjaku's death for a second, his entire goal with the merger was for fun, he wanted to see what would happen. In his fight vs Takaba, he died having fun, which is why he was ok with dying (although, he still wanted he plans to not be wasted, hence giving the merger to Sukuna.) Is it kind of disappointing considering how good the fight before was, yes, but there is a reason it happens that way. I don't think the fights were rushed either, although I think that some of the things that happen are unsatisfying.
THAT BEING SAID your entire complaint about Hakari vs Uraume is fair please keep trashing that
Jjk died then they offscreened gojo everything after that was just terrible one of the main villains died like he was nothin, uraume vs hakari started fightin then go to stands and started eating popcorns while everyone fough sukuna and then shows nobara is alive and bam sukuna died ending... Sad how bad it ended...
wait until he finds out that not every question you have about the story has to be answered
nice, i hope Gege doesn't show us what happens between Hakari and Uraume then :)
Having good mystery and ambiguity in the story is not bad, problem is that doesn't apply here with Gege, there's still so much of the story to be explored that it'd risk feeling rushed and an unsatisfying ending. Don't mistake "every question doesn't have to be answered" to actual writing that dismisses alot of plotlines that were already established. If there is a plotline, at least in some form or another, has to conclude within a nice and neat bow, that gives you a sense of finality and satisfaction knowing your time wasn't wasted, intentionally not answering big questions that are integral to the story? Now that's where we have a problem.
@@seanpaolofernandez9636
there's definitely some stuff that needs to be finished, hakari vs uraume is a great example. however, I don't think things like kenjaku's contingency plan or anything like that need to be answered.
kenjaku likely didn't even tell anyone his plan other than maybe tengen or sukuna.
It sounds like he's putting on a voice for some reason
