    Honestly very cool that (presumably) the entire staff of this studio got their faces put right at the bootup of the game they built. Gives a little humanity to the proceedings, makes you appreciate that real people make real sacrifices to put together even the most forgettable of games.

    man i remember watching so much x games back in the 2000s
    i didn't realize at the time it would have been my favorite genre of videogame

    Very nice video. I would have certainly been amused if they had gotten Macho Man Randy Savage in that game. Definitely got the nostalgia from the music though.

    I thought Thrasher was bloody great, but it did have a steep learning curve coming from THPS

    To call the first Dave Mirra game a "clone of Tony Hawk" is plain disrespectful, those games are completely different in structure, playstyle and objectives. Now, Matt Hoffman's Pro BMX is the actual clone, it even uses the same engine.
    Those games are not comparable, Dave Mirra's Freestyle BMX was a really good game and has aged with grace.
