But that doesn't mean a classical gymnast can't tumble as good as, or a powerful gymnastics can't dance as decent as. I'm sorry, I just think it's so rude to think one certain style/body line/music culture is better than the other. Sounds like prejudice!
incredible! she was first artistic gymnast performance i saw(london 2012) loved her ever since. re watched her perormance many times and a lot time after i started to observe a gymnastics. she has such a amazing tehnique, perfect 4th position
i love how her leap series goes completely with the music! it is this attention to detail that is unmatched by even the current standard of Russian floor. i was so happy to see her win, especially with a routine as beautiful and confident.

Superb to gain 5 tenths from the qualification score! I think with a few more squat sessions in the gym, she could easily add a full twist to that DLO...she's a complete floor worker but if she wants to challenge for Gold at Rio, she'd have to up her physical strength. Brilliant FX here though

I think the music is very boring here and doesn't fit her style. I know she is coming off of injuries and her tumbling is the same as it always has been but this routine lacks that edginess she usually brings. And that tattoo GOOD GRIEF GEEESH! Sorry to say, but I think it really takes away from her beauty and femininity.

The things she has to upgrade is the coreography, to be Afanasyeva floor routine, it looks without the attitude like his floor in london, or the Worlds of 2011, but good work, the things maybe she has connect are his turns, and change the double pike for a full twisting double pike, like she done in Beijing. And certainly, with his amazing execution, she can challenge acrobatic Biles for Floor.
