Woah that's a massive tank! Can't wait to see this aquarium again when the fish are full grown adults and show their full coloration. I think it was a good choice to get them young because now he gets to enjoy the process of watching them grow and develop physically and change their behaviours as they reach adult age
Your dad is very talented
I really like the use of shadow in his tank- there are parts of the tank that are almost completely dark, that's something you don't see in many aquascapes and it looks great. It adds an element of mystery and calmness. I also imagine the fish are much more comfortable in this lighting. The shimmer look great too.
I'd love to see some videos of feeding, and maybe some more explanation of why he chose each species (what he likes about them).

Leuk om te zien dat je de hobby kan delen met je Pa. Mijn pa is er niet meer. Maar hij had dus ook de hobby. En tussen de keuken en de huiskamer stond altijd een super groot aqaurium met zout watervissen. Ik vond dat zo indrukwekkend! Maar zoutwater vind ik toch voor mezelf iets teveel werk. Nu doe ik t al jaren met zoetwater en ook meer het aquascapen net als jij. Ben nu aan mn 3e aquarium bezig en t is zoooo leuk! Ik zal denk ik nooit helemaal zonder aquarium kunnen. Vind t wel jammer dat zo weinig meiden t leuk vinden. Maar goed i love it en ik ben ook gek van je youtube page! Ga vooral zo door! Keep up the awesome work! Groetjes uit Alkmaar!👋🏽👋🏽👋🏽

Just wow! Incredible tank and beautiful fish! I also followed my father's footsteps with aquarium keeping. He kept that old fashion, metal frame tank lit with incandescent light bulbs (later with fluorescent ones), self made air pump, filter, and heater ('70's) He managed to grow simple easy grower plants there and all house guests were always fascinated by the tank. My childhood memories are full of this aquarium. I've always kept aquarium as an adult. I guess it's the part of my childhood I want to keep. Good old times :-)

Seeing you at your Father's Incredible display and Incredible is a Huge understatement just made my day 💙 The height of the aquarium is perfect for my 2 favorite things to see when they school which most groups are capable of in the average aquarium but the only way to get a shoal is to have a monster like your Father's. The situation and setbacks are unfortunately a very reasonable consideration to anyone that has been considering building a plywood aquarium or has multiple build syndrome and I am sure that your Dad would be willing to give you the names of the products that are currently being used for this Monster and the name of the product that failed if anyone were interested? I am living with my girlfriend and she owns a nice 1 bedroom Condo in a great area in the suburbs, close to the Twin Cities and I love everything about the place but the building has a no pet policy including aquariums and seeing the problems your Father has had.... I think my next aquarium has to be my first ADA or UA Systems and be happy with a solid 120 and a nice extra reinforced solid stand and try to get by with 9 aquariums . 9 has a very good reputation for bringing good energy too 😌 Awesome to see you and your Dad enjoy the Masterpiece and your next visit you share with You Tube might be the 1st time you show off Little MJ 👶

I'm a French-speaking Belgian and I'm a subscriber to your channel. This video helped me brush up my Dutch while seeing fish. I'm less used to the Dutch accent than to the Flemish one but you both speak very clear Dutch. Haha
