Love this foundation. Got it yesterday at Sephora and I’m in love with it. Been on eight hours so far, and it’s so beautiful still. It does get dewy.

Something tells me this would benefit normal to dry skin types more. I have dry/dehydrated/dull & sensitive skin. As far as oily skin types go, it really all depends on how much oil one produces I would guess. I'd say, start off light by using this as a skin tint, & then progressively use it as a medium build finish for those who struggle with oil control, & then see which technique benefits the person better. I love how this foundation you don't need a lot of it to begin with, which means it'll last us a longer time, which makes the price point more understandable. I think it looked absolutely lovely on you!
Oooh, looks promising...and i actually do like the setting powder's packaging! It gets less messy this way. It reminds me of Thrive Causemetic's powder packaging which I love.

im super oily and i started using this foundation the other day and found it held up SO WELL! however i set it with the beauty bakery powder instead of the haus labs powder cuz i didnt wanna spend any more money lol, but i think that was a good idea like you said, its a foundation that can move around pretty easily but if you really set it, its fantastic and i thought it looked very natural
I changed my mind on the Patrick Ta. Looked good the other day when I was hydrated but today it looked so dry on me so I'm returning it. I got this one today and I have high hopes!
Depending how dry your skin is,use an hydration spray that you know works every time before using any foundation
I have oily skin and while it looked very skin like on me, it was definitely radiant!
A fun video idea: which complexion range (foundation, concealer, maybe even powder) is the best overall combo? Eg, Too Faced Born This Way line, Lancôme Teint Idole, Nars Radiant Creamy. Like which one is most cohesive if you just wanted to get a combo of products from the same line?
I’m waiting on a shade twin to see what shade to get. Online those undertones look SEVERE! Pink mauve grey. The ones that it says I should get is downright PINK and I have warm undertones

I tried this foundation, because I love Lady Gaga, and I really like the blush balm sticks, so I was excited to try it. To be fair, it's an excellent foundation. I had no complaints about formulation, coverage, wear, etc. The only reason I will not repurchase is price. I normally use the Sephora Collection Best Skin Ever foundation, and Haus Labs was not better *enough* than that foundation to justify being twice the price. So it's just about budget for me. Haven't tried the powder yet, but I'm intrigued!

I’m exactly like u, figured I was a true light medium neutral in almost all foundations but got color matched in store and walked out with the exact light neutral shade as u. I have oily skin so we’ll see how it does. I may wear it more during dryer winter months and probably skip hot summer months. I think your description of color matching will help a lot of folks. I'm so glad you talked about the shades. I'm usually pretty close to you and even the Sephora shade match tool suggestion 260 for me but the model didn't look like a match. If I end up trying this, definitely going to wait to swatch in stores.
This looks stunning! I’m struggling with the foundation shades, I’m light, I use light 7 in PMG, and I’m thinking of going on 110 in this foundation.
Same problem here.. I wear the too faced in porcelain, which should be a fair neutral, I’m worn between the 160 and the 110

I have a UNITS powder from Beautylish with similar mesh packaging & HATE IT! I can pound out the powder into the lid rather easily though, which helps. Already bought a refill of the KVD Good Apple, so I won't be able to try this until that is done. So excited Haus Labs is now in Sephora! ❤️

I am pat 7 as well. I am neutral undertone. Went with 160 shade a wee bit to dark for me. Applied well. Did not help with texture. Applied heavy dose of huda powder but still slid around as morgan described. Does not set down. Took off and put on estee double wear... life changing foundation. Buy the estee! Cara
Good to read this one! I use the double wear non-stop since 2019 and never found one better😁 what are the further differences between the Estée Lauder and the Haus Labs?
@@87Ashlee I did not feel that the haus set down well. Just seemed to slide all day. Color match options good. And did not do any favors for texture for sure. For the cost not worth it. Stay with estee

I just purchased the 220 shade and I'm much lighter than you. It is a bit light for me, however I can make it work. The pics online and the swatch color are way off!!! You have to see the foundations in person. I don't know if Haus labs took the photos or Sephora, but they are so bad!!

Love the video! Def picking these up. I don't mind looking like I have makeup on- just as long as it's the right shade. Too pale and too orange seems to happen to my skin. It's very weird 😆

Here because I just bought the foundation and just saw Lady Gaga in concert this week. lol She was amazing and so humble and kind...she cried about her friend who was from Houston and passed of cancer.
(I def had them shade match me in store because the foundation descriptions seemed off...fair cool with golden undertones? I'm fair cool. Haha...that would have been way wrong for me. I'm a 3.75 Armani Luminous Silk and the match I had in store was 070. Wondering how it will be when I try in person. Looked great at home from the try on in store.)

Yes 220 was my shade description wise but 160 was my skin
I cut the nets out of my powders so I can dip my sponge in. Not ideal for travel, but I don’t do much of that and I can transfer some to a travel container of o do. 👌🏼 I ordered the foundation and am excited to try it if I got the right shade. 😆

YES! The shades are based SO deep! I’m normally a light neutral and I had to go to the .5! I was one shade up from the lightest!

Arnica in a foundation?? I work in dermatology and we always recommend arnica cream for bruises😂
Arnica has other benefits in skincare, not just bruises ;) In skincare, I think it can be quite similar to calendula or camomile. Quite calming on the skin

Powders age you. It doesn't matter what brand.
The foundation+powder combo looks really good on your skin! But the prices girl..... 7g of product for $38? I don't think that's a good deal 🤷♂️
HausLabs is so insanely expensive, especially in Australia so I expected this foundation to apply itself do the rest of your makeup and take you out to dinner!
On a serious note, I’ve noticed from a few reviews that it’s a very glowy foundation (I have oily skin but still enjoy a glow) however, the powder seems to take all of the glow away, so it’s confusing. Yeah, this is an easy pass for me.

Don't like the Haus Labs foundation. After several tries, it didn't blend out well for me.

In my country, this is €60,-. At this moment the euro and dollar are about the same. I don't know if this included shipping and taxes or not, l just clicked off. 😢
Also, I feel very sceptical about skincare ingredients in the powder. Has to be some magical ingredients, that can penetrate sunscreen and foundation! And all that in a powder.....yeah, I don't think so.
Then maybe focus on the PERFORMANCE on the product instead of the technicals... that is what matters in the end with cosmetics. This foundation looks GREAT
