    Have a home kegerator? Which route did you take to serve beer in your home?

      Built my first one, now I have a prebuilt as it has to look a bit nicer in my living room. Mmm draft beer.

    I built mine. I can put five korny kegs in it. I have two taps on the outside and three picnic taps inside. I like the flexibility to have up to five kegs.

      Nice! I like using those picnic faucets because it makes it easy to up and downsize the inside of the kegorator.... plus kegs of beer to go.... always a good idea!

    Built if you can call it that. It looks like something out of Fallout or ripped out of a derelict Russian submarine. As soon as you know how to wire an STC-1000 you're set.
    Actually you're set when you get flow controllers!
    Nice vid. You're fun guys.

      We've been suggesting flow controllers for everybody! They are a bit more expensive but then line balancing is a lot more of a no-brainer :p

    Why does no one say how much it would be per beer? (355ml) like just buying beer from the LC compared to the kegerator

    I’d love to build my own but I’m limited on space. All the mini fridges don’t have a flat bottom. Any one know of a good mini to use?

    • @GenusBrewing
      @GenusBrewing  Před 6 lety

      You can find some good under-counter beverage fridges that are pretty ideal. They end up being a bit spendy, but the quality is certainly there.

      Genus Brewing the only problem is my friends live to far away and i don't have any craft beer enthusiast that I know to drink my homebrew so I don't get to brew as much as when I was bottling. More beer for me but I want to share and get feed back. The biggest positive of kegging proved itself today though, when I kegged my robust porter and Belgian pale in a bit over 3h 30min including cleaning. Bottling would have been over 8 hours and a pain in the ass.

      Yea it's definitely makes you want to brew more when you don't have to spend a ton of time packaging. I've taken to building a couple portable draft systems that make my kegged beer a bit more mobile. Also I want to try out the intertap ball lock adapter so I can counter-pressure fill off the tap for bottles on-demand!
