  • A British nurse, Lucy Letby, has been found guilty of murdering seven babies at a hospital neonatal unit, making her the UK's most prolific child serial killer of modern times.
The 33-year-old was also convicted of trying to kill six other infants at the Countess of Chester Hospital in England between June 2015 and June 2016.
Letby injected babies with air, force fed others milk and poisoned two of the infants with insulin.
The nurse continued to work at the neonatal unit despite repeated concerns reported to managers by senior doctors at the hospital.
The UK government has announced a public inquiry into the deaths.
Reeta Chakrabarti presents BBC News at Ten reporting by Judith Moritz and Michael Buchanan.

This is why when my wife delivered my babies, I was there and they didn't leave my arms. Nurses would come in saying they needed to take the baby to do X ... I took the baby to do X. The nurses were very understanding. Even proud of me saying they wished more fathers were like me. My babies were not being switched, stolen, nor murdered. Your wife did her job. You take it from there. Be a father.

Absolutely! I'm an MD in North America, and it is the same here. 1. all hospital admins are heartless bureaucrats, i didn't start out believing this but it has proved to be the case many times over. 2. Nurses are UNIONIZED. Why doesn't anyone mention this? Even the hospital admins would have trouble re assigning or sanctioning a nurse without proof. Bc their unions are powerful.
Whereas we, the doctors, are defenseless against them all. Our associations are only there to sanction us, and whatever respective "protective" association there is, is only there in case a patient complains, NEVER to defend us against a hospital.

My question is why does she get a say in whether or not she wants to attend court? why was she even given a choice? even if she did refuse why are you treating this creature like they are a normal functioning human being? She has murdered people's children and stolen their futures from them. Their lives are forever changed because of her...why didn't the courts force her to sit there and listen to her horrific crimes and their effects? This is something that I think is a grievous injustice by the court system. Also, everyone involved who refused to take action should be charged for essentially protecting a serial killer...cause that's what they did..they took the side of a criminal instead of taking action against that creature!

The very first time they discovered that a baby had died of unnatural causes (there is no reason for air or insulin to be injected into a child), they should have gotten the police involved. How could they let this go on for so long. Everyone who didn’t escalate or report this or ignored the reports that were made should be held accountable in court.

a strange nurse who either claimed to be a student or learner, drew blood from me sloppily on the arm i had a blood clot/rhabdomyolysis on..she had different scrubs on and i thought scrubs in the hospital were disposable or all the same color and were washed in a washing machine visible in the halls. She was very sloppy, and eventually she sucked in air through the hole in my arm, trying to apparently suck up the blood. either she had no idea how to do it or was doing it on purpose. knowing air can go into your veins and cause an embolism, i was scared and kept telling her to stop. eventually she did and said "im not gonna keep torturing you, we can try later" but no one ever tried to draw my blood again, meaning it wasnt necessary.....I dont remember her name because i was barely conscious since being admitted from my emergency.

Christianity began as sun worship, the stories about Jesus are symbolic.
He is just a personification of the sun, made into a god figure later on.
The sun "dies" for 3 days on December 22nd, the winter solstice, when it stops its movement south, to be born again or resurrected on December 25th, when it resumes its movement north.
In some areas, the calendar originally began in the constellation of Virgo, and the sun would therefore be "born of a Virgin"
The sun rising in the morning is "the saviour of mankind"
The sun is "The light of the World"
The sun "walks on water" is just the reflection of the sun on water/the sea.
"He cometh on clouds, and every eye shall see him", is just sun rays.
Jesus' "crown of thorns" is just the sun's glare, also know as a halo.
The sun's "followers", "helpers" or "disciples" are the 12 months and the 12 signs of the zodiac or constellations, through which the sun must pass.
The sun at 12 noon is in the house or temple of the "Most High": thus.."he" begins "his Father's work" at "age" 12.
The sun enters into each sign of the zodiac at 30 degrees, hense, the "Sun of God" begins his ministry at "age" 30.
The sun is hung on a cross or "crucified", which represents its passing through the equinoxes.
The vernal equinox being Easter, at which time it is then resurrected.
The reason why saviour myths are so similar with a godman who is crucified and resurrected, who does miracles and has 12 disciples, is that these stories were based on the movements of the sun through the heavens, an astrotheological development that can be found throughout the planet, because the sun and the 12 zodiac signs can be observed around the globe.
In other words, Jesus Christ and all the others upon whom this character is predicated are personifications of the sun, and the Gospel fable is merely a rehash of a mythological formula revolving around the movements of the sun throug the heavens.
Christianity is ancient astrology, it's just fables about the sun.

No one is saying how these babies died. What did she actually do? This is unimaginable.

A mix of things. Air injection, insulin, milk overfeeding, and hitting them. Along with disconnecting alarms and making the emergency go unnoticed as long as possible ofc

this is why the babies never leave the room in my local hospital

Injection of air is extremely anti-humanity crime. I cannot imagine how these victims were suffering. Shame on the managers and they also should be punished.

Unwanted babies get injected through th e heart with potassium to stop it, standard practice.

I'm a premmie twin Mum. This chills me to the bone. Those premmie babies were tiny, fragile little babies. Truly tiny, could hold them it your palms tiny. They're so delicate, fighting for life. We trust their nurses and doctors in the hospital, we've no choice because we cannot heal them. Having extended that trust myself this story makes me feel sick.

The ways she killed them was also horrible.
She didn't gave babies easy death.

I had a baby in the nicu for 73 days. I’m thankful I didn’t hear this story then. It was already a terrible roller coaster ride without that on my mind. Truly evil monster.

@@iscifion7122 I know. I'm still reeling from what I've heard in the recent days about how they died. Those poor little babies. I don't know how the parents will ever come to terms with what happened to them.

I’m pregnant with twins (likely to be premature) and this story is beyond horrific, it makes me want to stay at their sides in the NICU 24/7

@@jillronan6786 my twin were in nicu for 90 days. I spent my whole summer in the nicu days and nights. I came home for 3 hours a day just to take shower and relax a little. All nurses and doctors are great people at my twin’s nicu. but as a mom seeing my kids that weight less than 2 lbs, I can’t leave them in the hand or nurses alone.
So yeah, if you want to stay 24/7, please do.

The Health system and hospital management utterly failed to prevent her from doing this. Once is bad enough but more than twice is unfathomable.

This behaviour happens in every work field
You inform managers about coworkers bad or shady behaviour and their first reaction is to deny, gaslight and shut it down🤦🏾‍♀️
When a concern is raised investigate it no matter how unlikely you think it may be
