the boss saying to his employee "fill me in" this sounds terribly odd and inappropriate to me😮if you see what I mean😂
Thanks for watching Fred. The term 'fill in' can as is used in this context mean to inform someone of the details of something. But it can also mean to hurt someone by hitting them in a fight. Again it's context.
So if someone says it at work you should get out a pen and paper and write down what they mean. But in a dangerous pub and a local thug says 'I'm going to fill you in' it's time to start running. 😉
