rammstein was my first big concert in 2001. i was 14 and i told my parents i would sleep at a friends house... in fact, that friend and me took the train to a 100km distant city where we went to the concert and slept in a park afterwards... in late november. ;D

Just go for it. There ain't no downsides to knowing more languages. Plus it will teach you about other cultures, Germany certainly has a mad history to delve into. Also German helps if you ever need to go on an angry rant. One of the best languages to get a point across without need for understanding.

I still love the music, but seeing the edgy 2000's-ish metallic silver hair did make me laugh. I honestly remember when that was the coolest most, "futuristic" thing to have. No one could have predicted that the future of music was gonna be just a sea of smartphones staring back at the entertainer. That to me, is far more depressing than any retrospect of a fashion era.
