I think this may be the first Event in over 3 years that we haven’t Vlog and i will admit it felt a little strange!! Out times were half an hour apart all day and there was sadly no way we could have fitted in filming too, so I have done a little debrief and also a spoke a little about some of my most used/loved/tried & tested Eventing Products.

I actually love how real Em, Meg, Lucy and you are when you critique your rides. As a fellow eventer (tuning in from Canada), I find that much more interesting than I would if you just glossed over all the negatives. This is how we learn! I do want to hear you acknowledge the (many, many, many) positives, but I love it when you all keep it real. All your honesty about advertising and supporting products and items which currently can't be repped at live events is also really appreciated. ...and CONGRATS on a great event! Well ridden; very respectable and admirable dressage and show jumping and fab cross!! Even if there were a couple of chip ins, you stay really balanced and hardly interrupt your rhythm. Your upper body is position goals for me; keeps the balance, is so nice and still and stays well out of the way (and looks great)! You should be proud! And love your summer house!!! So cozy and nice. Would love to know what Robbie and you are listening to on that excellent stereo! xx

I've always felt the products you & Em share are ones you two have used for some time & find a worthy product to speak well of. Yiu both have given plenty of examples. It is lovely that the companies in the horse world support the amatuer riders as well as s the professionals. After all it is not a cheap passion. Your promotions are sincere & honest in my view anyway. Having an advertising background, I feel confident in my remark.
As to Sir Banksy III & yourself results: Well Done! Looking at the positive as well as the.....not so positive is the most beneficial way towards improving to your fullest potential for both horse & rider. Plus increasing one's self confidence. Love your vlogs as alway. Cheers.

Hi Tina, I love your vlogs, I love seeing the products you use, knowing that you only use quality and not just because you have been sponsored. I live in a place where I dont have access to horsey friends or know anything about new tack or fashion. I was out of the Horsey world for 25 years. A lot has changed.. So you are helping people like me... I am saving money in the long run. Hello fresh is now my friend, no waste.. yes it may seem expensive at first but i spend less coz i dont go to the shops i buy too much i always go when i am hungry. NAF products are working great.. of course some things I cannot get here in germany but most of it. I undestand all too well about the show stands.. I used to do the circuit years ago we had a catering stand so we would alsmost certainly have gone bankrupt this year if we were still doing it; Also people dont realise that the shows are the only public point of sale for a lot of stands. They need to make enough money in the season for the whole year. The first was always Badminton (miss it emensly) and the Last Olympia.. (big p****up) afterwards christmas party feel. So thanks for explaining.. Your dressage test was great.. there are subtle improvements if I may say so. Your seat is better, you seem more in balance and in touch with banksy. His head is a lot stiller and he is trying to connect more. Even though he was exited he still calmed down and knew he had to do the dressage test, he seems more focused and concentrated.. So the extra lessons are paying off. Be more positive you are a really good rider you are working as a team.. I love being a part of your life and seeing the highs and lows, it gives me courage and confidence. I am working on getting back into eventing one way or another i loved it as a teenager. Just have to get my horses trained.. they are young.. and just broken in.. anyway have a good week.. hugs from the back of beyond.

I think that your riding would more than likely improve if you were to challenge yourself more and maybe consider doing more 100 events. As you said in a previous vlog that Banksy rides better with bigger fences... Keep up with the good work... I can't get enough of your vlogs 😊

I think most people get nervous about doing things... But, it's all part of the challenge of getting out and eventing. You have the knowledge and horsey know how to succeed. Plus you take away a lot of helpful hints and tips for your riding technique from your instructors and of course, Emily. Is there any other reason for not being a better rider, probably not... You just need to believe and have more faith in yourself and Banksy... You really have an incredible bond with him... Go out and bring home those rosettes... 😊🐎🐴

Totally know what you mean taking that xc fence in that xc canter stride. No checking and sorting what you need to do to that individual fence strides out and not on the last 2 strides that cause the chip stride. Fab round he eats up his fences. Good luck for your next event xx
Sara Hughes it’s just hard when I need to slow him down as then I interfere too much with the rhythm... need to be able to push on more if that makes sense xx
@@LifeontheLeftRein if you can experiment trying him in a snaffle type, go xc schooling and see how you get on. In some cases we often have more breakers than we need and teach the horse to slow down with our bodies.If you can get a lesson with your lovely Fred. Xx

I watched it straight away then life got busy and now I have a moment to think before I type. A few questions if that's okay.
My 4year old daughter just started lessons but wed like to get her own riding hat as shes reacting to whatever they are using to clean them. Is it best to find somewhere to fit her properly or would buying online do? . I know size and what brand shes been using.
Any tips for finding the right boots for me?
Amazing vlog I like that you're honest that you find it easier some days to criticize your riding but still find positives. I find your vlogs like having friends and chatting with you. I have re watched some that give me a feel good moment x
I would try some of the other kids (if thats okay) and see what fits her or if you know the brand and size that she was using just get her that. It should fit her and you can always return it if it doesn't

Rene Owens we retired in a 90 today after 2 run outs so I won’t be pressured to move up until we are more confident at getting the strides right x
