Electrolux Xio Compact Vacuum Cleaner Unboxing & Review

A new old stock vacuum from Electrolux is unboxed and gawped at in today's video. A very basic bottom of the line vacuum cleaner with a powerful suck.

This is such a cute vacuum cleaner, Electrolux did a similar vacuum with Eureka in the USA. Wonderful job!

I've one very similar to this - it's a bit smaller and badged Mini Mite Super Lite. The same floor tool but slightly different wand and handle. Cord rewinds around the swivel castor on the bottom.
I've found a third-party fabric/HEPA style bag that fits nicely and as you said it makes a perfect car vacuum, they're pretty powerful for their size.
And it is a standard fitment - I've had my Henry Airobrush on it with great results!

Here in Brazil we have it over several colors, depending on the motor power (grey, blue, orange and black) from 1100 to 1600 watts
The 1600 watts has a bag indicator, cord rewinder and a speed dial where on/off is as you said. If you want to see more, google Max Trio Electrolux.

It's funny how there are differences with the xio in different countries. The first one to come to Australia had a much better floor head and stainless steel wands, the second version of the xio had the same floor head and stainless steel telescopic wands plus adjustable suction. It was a small vac with a big heart.

Roger the Xio was quite unique, the model that was released in Aus had a handle where if you looked at the vac from the top, the handle was on the left and at the back left hand side of the handle was a very well hidden cord rewind button

I believe it has been made in China by an OEM whose name Is "KingClean".
This same vac was sold here as "Electrolux Trineo".
A very common model here is the so called "Ingenio" wich is available in Mainland Europe as "AEG - Electrolux", again a KingClean made machine. There also exist some swedish made Ingenio's but i mean the China made one.
As other follower of this channel says, Electrolux sells them in many colours.

The bags of your machine are exactly the same latin Ingenio's uses. It's from China for sure. The motor is the same many china-made vacs use, those acorn-shaped metallic ones.

I had one of these in the early 00's it was in orange and grey with a chunky handle on the top but was called xio, about second cheapest in Argos I think. Must've been another model. Sadly it stopped working after accidentally sucking up water 😔
