This brought so many memories. My parents have been in the charcoal-making business for over 30 years here in Ghana and my siblings and I have been sponsored from nursery through the university from this job. I have participated in cutting down trees, burning, packing, distributing, and selling charcoal for as long as a can remember. And just like this wonderful woman, I am also a Sisali from the Upper West Region. I am currently a software engineer.
Hi,im a charcoal business man,I need charcoal from Ghana, can you help me?
These r hard work, its men who should be doing this love my people.
As a British Ghanaian born and raised in London, watching your videos made me realise how lazy most Ghanaian men are. Our women do everything
Women used to be housewives and when they became widows or divorced they had nothing. Yes most of these should have been done by men but I believe these women do it to take care of their children and make a living.
Tell tatiana to give you a video about only men's their everyday work. She is always giving you only video's about women's
Our hard working women should be encouraged to protect themselves from inhaling the smoke, to avoid health hazards.
Yes I agree. We don't want our mothers and sisters to fall ill. That smoke is very harmful.
Hello beautiful Tatiana. Most women do hard work. In Latin America you can also see the strength of women.God bless all the women who are an important pillar within the family. I send you a big hug from Mexico 🇲🇽
i celebrate the African woman, they are the strongest in the world
I am from Kerala. India. Gods own country
U are very humble my darling sister.
Favorite video of the day. 👍🏻 ❤️❤️
Girl that accent. ❤❤
Your smile, your strength and your personality ❤❤❤. I'd love to meet you
Taty! Amazing amazing amazing💥💥💥! And I say this because your content is diverse. I mean sorting out how charcoal is made is the ultimate, given how charcoal is essential to cooking in many a Ghanaian household. And your depiction of the charcoal making process is super on point. It is a very labor intensive activity, which I do not think many are aware of💪🏿. And the whole process shows how intelligent and thoughtful we are as a people comes through the camera. And as usual you documentation and the telling of the story was super well done. Not sure if you are aware, but some are trying to replicate your style and topics but you are unique in carrying stories and weaving a tale. You are unsurpassed now and forever! Your content is just fire🔥. Again many thanks for showcasing and profiling those who under "regular" circumstances receive no press or media attention. We are better people for viewing your clips. Keep the content coming!
Wow🤝🤝 you're really an inspiration, the way you help people to carry stuff in your videos. Well done 🤝
I love watching your videos. My husband found out thru ancestry DNA that he is nigerian and Ghanaian. The skin of the tree is called the bark. Thank you for sharing this. Blessings

In America, the skin of the tree is called "bark".
Eiii Tati sasala woman bumper to bumper everywhere Tatiana she's there famous woman God bless you for good work hi to my children and Alan wow you wonderful..🤭🤭🤲✌️🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭
Another excellent video. Pardon my naevity, I respectably would like to know if there are gender roles in Ghana, I ask this question because most of the activities that I see women doing there are tasks that men perform in Jamaica. Charcoal burning is very labor intensive and difficult basedon my experience at my grandparents when I was much younger. Men and men alone does this kind of work in Jamaica. 🇯🇲
In Ghana every gender can do any work as far as they can do it
God bless all women in the world for taking care of themselves and their children and husbands May the almighty God gives them long life 🙏🙏🙏
Wonderful video. Thank you

We call the skin of the tree "tree bark". But you must always use it as "tree bark" because we also use the word "bark or barking" for the sound dogs make. The dog is barking. Great video.

Why are these women, who are mothers, working so much and so hard? We don't see men in the videos working like this. What kinds of even more extreme work do the men perform?
U really have to be there to understand the system..
But Sammi, these women are performing such strenuous work, often, with children strapped to themselves. Then going home and working even more! Please educate me. Obviously, men are around because it appears pregnancy is not uncommon. Why are they not supporting these women and children?
Yeah, this is a common problem in Ghana and Africa. A lot of third world countries are stuck in gender roles with women doing most of the work. I believe the CIA even wrote a paper on this about the effect of this in the USA African American community, where also the women do all the work.
I am heartbroken. Particularly because I was a stay home wife and mother for several years to a very successful Ghanian man. We divorced and he continued to support us until his death. I am seriously concerned about these women. It's not fair to them or the children.
You talk too much. Much of the talking should have been directed to what you are teaching us.
Number pls
Good luck and good work
