  • Description:
In this video, I will show you how to draft an easy 1 piece pocket pattern with 1/2" seam allowances for sewing into the side seams of your garment. Pockets are an essential feature of any garment, and creating a perfectly fitting pocket can elevate the look of your project. By following my step-by-step tutorial, you can draft a pocket pattern that will fit seamlessly into the side seams of any garment you are sewing. #pocketsofpeace

Am considering making a welt pocket style (vertically) on each side of the front. So with the pocket pattern I will need another piece for the welt. If you can suggest another video for this style pocket I would be very grateful. Thank you again@@ProfessorTJWilkins

Greetings, It is a standard pocket however if you need to make it bigger you can increase the size by 1/2 to 1 inch. Create a sample to see what works for you.

Where did you get your paper from? Thanks

You can use Christmas paper that has ruled lines. I just use a paper grocery bag, cut open and ironed flat. Hope this helps.😊

Check out dot paper on amazon. The price has gone up, though. I definitely cosign @bajoobie Cuzican advice! The cost is less. However, if you are still interested in dot paper, check out the link below
