i used something similar,but instead or an Arduino i used an ATTiny 88 programmer board wick works nicely

hello, i've met a problem. my pump is not starting and i did everything u did there, i even have almost the same components as you do. my moisture sensor is set on digital, should i control it from that screw from the module or smth? i tested it rn, if the sensor is in water at the start of the test, pump is not starting, i take the sensor out, pump starts, but after that, if i put the sensor back in water, the pump won t stop, or it will be delayed by like 5-10 sec
Try using another power source for the pump
@@renutewatia5183 i tried 3 different powersources, 3 different types of moisture sensors and also tried both analogyc and digital signals for the sensors and still not working XD

It may be the issue with the sensor
Try testing each and every board by uploading example code !!

Won't it overwater the plants since it pumps water everytime it gets dry? Some plants need drying-out in between waterings.
Was thinking the same thing. Most plants can take quite some abuse when it comes to underwatering, and still make an amazing recovery. But root rot is pretty much a death sentence...

You can connect anywhere in the digital pins , you should change the code accordingly

Can you make a vid for a simpler system? I was thinking of a timer so like every 3 days it waters the plant for like 10 seconds. Also instead of using a pump just put the water container above the soil and rig a valve to open and close. Could that work? Seems a lot simpler and more effective since there arent as many components.

Connect the pump's +ve to N\C of the relay and -ve to any power source and +ve of the power source to the COMMON pin of the relay
