Black Ops Cold War really got the Killing Floor 2 treatment. Launch guns (and some early DLC guns) animations we're good, but then the quality dropped down hard. Also they recycled firing sounds, some are almost exactly the same as BO4, i can still hear the Locus in the K31 and the Hades in the MG 82
@@WorranI wouldnt say that. They're too different. I would say mw2 is the BEST of the 3 because it combined the fun parts of cold war and the fun parts of mw2019. And it had a level of content comparable to bo3
Half of these weapons are either anachronistic or fictional. The 1980s had a good weapon variety to choose from. Here are some examples: *Stechkin APS. Colt Python. L9A1. IMI Uzi. VZ-61. L1A1. VZ-58. M1887. IZh-54.* These are weapons that i would have loved to see in this game.
Right? Not to mention a lot of the guns are used by countries that never used them IRL. Like East German troops in the game using AK5s and MP5s and Soviets using Galils. Zero research put into this game. Maybe the modding community will come out with some realism mods for the PC version some time soon.

@@Glenn_Quagmire They could have at least tweaked the loadouts for the different factions to be more realistic while using the weapons already existing in the game. Warsaw Pact weapons for Warsaw Pact factions and Western weapons for Western factions. Simple.
Ironically if they put all the weapons from Black Ops 1 in Cold War, they would have been period correct. But they didn't do that, so we get guns from the early 2000's in our 80's shooter
Missed out on a big opportunity to bring some hard hitting Cold War nostalgia. How could you make a cold war game, and not include the CoD classics like the FAL, Dragunov, Makarov, Uzi and RPK. Hell even the CZ-75 and first gen Glocks would have been accurate for the time in this game. Would have also been nice if they could include some Cold War gems like the PKM, MAG, MG3, G33 and G11
@@liamferreira8912they did have the uzi in the Milano the RPK in the form of a barrel attachment in for the hybrid thing called the AK-47. And in one of the promotional things (can’t remember if it was unused or not) it showed one of the characters holding a makarov but we never got it 😔
Story mode is super underated I will agree but the multiplayer was very mid and zombies was cool... But not as good as classic zombies and I'm not a Nostalgia guy games Like Bo1 and bo2 are just better than cold war if we are talking maps. Gameplay and personality cold war feels Like MW2019 if it was made in 2017
Let’s admit that the animation of the reloads made us had a somewhat a bad impression of the game since we expected a good reload animation just like mw19 lol
@@AnqorM206 ok that’s true. the campaign is honestly one of my favorites and zombies is pretty fun, but the multiplayer could’ve been better and SBMM kinda ruins it for me, but it’s definitely a better multiplayer compared to some recent cods

I don’t get how Bf2042 of all games was able to get the real names for guns, and Activision won’t do it for CoD. I know the California bill is an issue, but apparently Battlefield can get around it somehow and use real names and models. Why can’t CoD?
CoD was specifically found to have had a secret product placement deal with Remington/the now-defunct Freedom Group for the original MW3, hence the overcompensation.
I hear it's because Battlefield uses the military designations of the guns (of which iirc the military guns are a bit different from the civilian counterparts) and the military designations are of open use.
but it's in a typical COD fashion that they classified it as an SMG since they followed Cold War doctrine on Classifications at the time. That is until MWII where they correctly classified it as an AR.

5:45 NTW 20 is flipped…
And scaled down too. It's impossible for the user to aim the real thing while standing. Roblox Phantom Forces depict this correctly.

AKS-74U is not an SMG but an assault rifle firing 5.45 rounds
Its neither, its a carbine but has been used as an SMG or PDW in the red army and the russian army
