    If you don’t have any oil, you can use butter as your last resort (I hope this helps😁)

      Hi, for sure, a little bit of butter in the bowl works well too. Thanks for the comment!

      @@ShayIsCool31 Oh no! Sorry to hear that. You need to make sure you're using a microwave safe or tempered glass bowl. Usually this will be stated on the bottom of the bowl. I don't recommend using plastic. Hope this helps!

    I love popcorn.. If I go to mall I buy... I can't cook in my home.. I don't have oven.. In short I don't have electricity in my tiny home.. Live alone inside the Jungle is verry hard.... Specially I am a single mom.. Every night I heard something' outside.. Maybe... Monster... I'm not afraid.. God behind me... ❤❤❤❤❤❤

    I bought a silicone lid with little pockets for butter so as the kernels pop, the heat from the microwave melts the butter and drips into the bowl.

    You got my attention with your cinnamon sugar popcorn reco. Do you have a cinnamon to sugar ratio suggestion? Love the channel 🍿

      Cinnamon sugar: Use 1 tablespoon of sugar to ¾ teaspoon of cinnamon. Thanks for the comment!

    Hey, can I use a ceramic bowl to make the popcorn?? I'm not sure if the glass bowls I have are microwave safe or not.

    • @alwaysbelearning5655
      @alwaysbelearning5655  Před měsícem

      As long as the bowl is microwavable, it should be ok. However, you may need to listen more carefully to stop microwaving when the kernels are finished popping since you won't be able to see the inside of the bowl. Just make sure you don't burn the popcorn.

    What size is your glass bowl? I'm guessing 1.5 to 2 quart?

    • @alwaysbelearning5655
      @alwaysbelearning5655  Před 7 měsíci +1

      I used a 2.5 qt bowl in the video, but I'm sure you could use a 2 qt bowl with no trouble. Thanks for watching!🍿

      @alwaysbelearning5655  Před 3 měsíci

      Yes, we think it is safe if you have a microwave safe bowl and cover and don't go too long in the time.

    Paper Towel lid is too flimsy. Popcorn all over the place. Besides that, popcorn was tasty. Thank you.

    You really don’t need oil at all 🤷‍♀️

    • @alwaysbelearning5655
      @alwaysbelearning5655  Před 4 měsíci

      I feel that a little bit of oil provides a more even heat for all the kernels. But you're right, you don't have to use oil.

    • @janinawaz4596
      @janinawaz4596 Před 4 měsíci +4

      It's true you don't. Without it I find there are more unpopped kernels left over. But also, the finished popcorn is more absorbent, of whatever toppings you apply. Pre-oiling the kernels is a nice way to put a touch of olive oil flavor into the batch.
