The new Trials of Osiris glaive is here in #destiny2, and while it may seem disappointing at first glance, there is a LOT under the hood. I think it's the most consistent glaive I've ever used. The range and projectile speed combined with 4th column perk options is pretty legit. If glaives ever get in a better state for the crucible, we could see this one really take off with it's amazing stat package.

Destiny 2 Update TODAY: "Fixed an issue where Arc Jolt damage to minor combatants was lower than intended following the scaling changes in 7.1.0." That was one of my big gripes with using it in PvE. Looking forward to really knocking adds out and having the ability to do big boss jolt damage safely with the shield.
Love you, but you're as fucking guilty as the rest. It's pronounced NEZ-A-REC. Like Wreck. Not Rack. Not NEZ-A-RACK... It's NEZ-A-RECK.
EDIT: Also, you've pointed out most-likely the #2 problem with glaives: Impulse Amplifier should NOT be a MUST-pick for a glaive to be good. All this says is "Glaives need help, and faster fire rate". Otherwise completely pointless weapons.
Hell, maybe make them hitscan... and failing that? Pull a Rangefinder where RF is not NEEDED in the first place.
So keep using enigma for pvp
I feel like glaives should be more like a spread or a wave of energy. Almost like staffs from that one Call of Duty Zombies map Origins. This would make glaives so much more usable and consistent
Make them all like a long range tractor cannon? That’s the only analogy I can think of
@@willl5659 i think making them have a weaker version of the Black Talon projectile would be pretty cool. Like sending out a blade of energy rather than just a slow-moving ball would make me want to use them.
Go try out the exotic glaive from last season.
Na I really like the way they work. As someone who has over 40,000 kills with glaives the bolt feels so good.
Glaives are fine just the way they are. In the right hands they are too nasty
The duality of content creation
Aztecross -"this is truly awful, why bungie!?" legoleflash-"this is truly wonderful! thanks bungie!"
So interesting! I saw that too. I love this guys one shot builds. Tricky but when it works XD
What can I say, I’m a beacon of hope for underused weapons. 😎 I do still wish it was a rapid-fire glaive as I say in the intro.
That is pretty much how Cross works though, unless it's THE meta he calls it ass but the second he thinks it's good he acts like it's the most op stuff in existence. I am a regular viewer of his lol, I'm not just being a dick, that's just something I find annoying at times
Lol I liked both videos and yes you are a beacon of hope
I really think that this should have been the first kinetic slot glaive to make it really worth going after
I wonder if that’s gonna eventually be a season pass weapon or something
Trials doesn't give them money like Dungeons or Raids so, the first kinetic glaive will be behind one of those two things
Oh that would have really sold it for everyone. I feel like there has to be some technical reason they haven’t done that yet.
@@Legoleflash at least glaives have a reason to not be kinetic because of the character pose. I'm still waiting on kinetic fusions and trace rifles.
@@Aj-py8en Bastion is a kinetic fusion rifle. As far as kinetic trace rifles, that be kinda wild shooting a stream of kinetic slugs
This is why I love Lego.
I ran 4 flawlesses and was planning to keep getting more since it’s a new weapon and thought it might be good. Then I see other CZcamsrs calling it trash and I quit caring.
You’re so good not just at making entertaining high school quality content but make weapons exciting again.
Thank you Jeremy! I hope it comes across genuine too because I really do think there is great stuff in these weapons. Sometimes it just takes a little Destiny science to figure it all out! 😄
I stopped farming it as well after seeing all the negative buzz around it. Now I’m mad that I missed out on a decent adept that could’ve been easily farmed :(
@@oliverqueen1853 I'm sure it'll come back around soon enough! Fingers crossed!
Content is subject matter, not a production.
Literally had this and Aztecross video on this pop up at the same time and I find it hilarious to have one video say "worst glaive ever" and "it's good" side by side XD
Haha right? I was just watching his and I don’t think I’ve ever disagreed so much on a weapon. 😅 love cross tho
Name a more iconic duo than trials weapons and out-of-band stats. Won't be it for me - not up for farming trials for a
Hey, that’s understandable!
I love the cinematic look of some of the shots and the slo-motion shots are incredibly well cut. Keep up the great work! Looking forward to watching more of your content!
Thank you! Appreciate it!
Great vid. I watch your stuff because of how fresh and unique your perspective on the D2 sandbox is. I'm not much of a glaive fan myself, but your vid convinced me to keep an open mind on the weapon type
Keep up the good work, Lego
Thank you! Yeah! I think this one will be a bit of a sleeper weapon (as all glaives kind of are)
I absolutely love the subscribe jokes. Man, so much better than just "support the show" - great video. I need to go through my rolls from this weekend
Your content production is amazing bro, keep it up!
Thank you! Appreciate it!!
Media production or content creation, actually.
I started using the Hunter's Triton Vice as a meme but genuinely fell in love with it, and since then glaives haven't left my Hunter's side for PvE and now PvP. I don't play Trials but solo queued to unlock Unexpected Resurgence at Rank 16, and then spent all of my materials collecting various rolls. Got the Impulse + Surrounded one and I adore it for PvP! Thanks for tips on Glaive range impacting projectile speed, going to spec into that now.
Great vid!
Beautiful review 💪🏾✨
Thank you! Glad to have the glaive master’s approval!
I actually got a role of this Glaive that you can't get anymore. It's one when Impulse Amplifier was in the 2nd column. Mine has 95 range, Tilting at Windmils and Impuls. This just became my fav and best Glaive for PVP, it just shoots fast and you walk fast with your shield up. its super consistent in mods like trails or comp. Pair it with the new Hunter Strand aspect and Sixt coyote or Bombardiers and you are a force to be recon with in close combat. these perk combinations are slept on and very consisstent together
This is so well made! Very impressive as I know this is a lot of work
Thank you! It really is! I'm a little lacking in the sleep department!
A change to allow swatch to also proc dmg for melee hits would be awesome, but I think it's hard to really balance glaves.
I'm still waiting on the tyranny of heaven video because I crafted mine with swashbuckler and successful warm up. I've been having a blast. Using Athrys embrace with it. Pairs well with an smg.
Quickly becoming my favorite light weight
wow.. what an excellent glaive! i can't believe some of the negativity surrounding this weapon when it is one of the most stat dominant glaives available with some juiced rolls to boot! always impresses me how thoroughly you research glaives and champion them whilst showing how dominant they can be in the right hands, even in a competitive setting.
I'm like you in that once I saw the stat package and Impulse Amplifier being moved into the 3rd column, I became a lot more interested in this glaive than I was pre-release. That 100 range + IA is very appealing.
I just wish they hadn't completely gutted the drop rate of Adepts, because I only got 3 post-match drops all weekend (Seems like a 1/10 drop rate now based on my experience and others I've seen, maybe even lower) and none of them had the roll. Got one 100 range roll without Impulse and one Impulse roll that only caps out at 78 range, but at least it the handling stat will be felt compared to Enigma.
I'm in the same boat with you on a lot of your drops, still haven't got the max range roll yet!
Feels good when the recommended pvp roll lines up with what I was thinking. Top notch work as always lego!
Thank ya!!! Yeah, you were right on it!
Ive been waiting for this video so long since I knew lego would prepare a guide for this glaive and would make it work. Sad it came up after trials ended but still a great guide that helps for grinding next time
Hey glad to help Andy! Yeah hopefully it can be a resource for those who need it when trials rolls back around!
My very first adept drop, straight from the lighthouse, was what I consider a perfect roll. Max range, swap mag, impulse amplifier, close to melee and vorpal. I would have preferred something else instead of vorpal so I had a damage perk that works on the projectile, but I mostly use the melee on glaives anyways. It's amazing.
My adept was Impulse Amplifier with Frenzy/Voltshot with Shield Duration masterwork.
You couldn't craft a better roll
I forgot they added Voltshot and moved Impulse Amplifier to the left column, so while I was leveling up in Trials this weekend (having not yet unlocked the glaive), I was just unfocused popping engrams from Saint since my enthusiasm for this glaive was low. Now I'm reminded of the rework and super amped on it, sad face that I already wasted so many engrams. :(
Great review. I love my volt shot / shot swap roll with 90 range with adept range. It’s gonna be hard to take this thing off for me.
Great vid as usual. Hope more people see this and skip the trap perks in C3. Would love to see you do some cool stuff with the exotic hunter glaive on the channel, btw.
Ooooo, I almost talked about that glaive in this video because I was using it for all my nightfall runs. VERY GOOD this season.
So, I think I have actually figured out part of why glaive Projectiles feel so inconsistent. At closer range when you are within your Aim Assist distance, the AA can actually prevent you from leading shots, taking shots that you have lead and redirecting them towards your target. Except, when the target is strafing, this causes the projectile to miss the target as they continue to move to the side. Its something I have been noticing more and more now that I have figured out what was causing it, and it makes a lot of sense for what the kind of issues I have seen other glaive mains talk about. I usually have no problem hitting long range lead shots outside of my AA range, but I always struggled inside my AA range, when that should in theory be "easier" shots.
This is a fantastic observation, and it really encourages you to use the weapon at range, which I don't think a lot of people do.
At this point, I think the playerbase could write a book called "all the times I've been done dirty by aim assist"
(or reticle stickiness, or whatever name streamers have for it). You know... Trying to shoot a thing, and being forcibly pushed in an unwanted direction.
@@gregbrown3082 There are two kinds of Aim Assist. Reticle stickiness is something controllers get that helps them track moving targets. Bullet bend is the other kind, and it's something both mnk and controller get. Bullet bend is what is causing the issue in this case.
Another killer vid bro
Thank you Kyle!
This is peak and actual useful destiny content. Thank you lego ♥
Hey! Thank you! Glad to help! :)
Great vid! What’s the outro song!?
Lego I was farming this last night in demon hours ( Aussie) before reset trying to get an impulse roll when your vid dropped. I was about to give up but watched your vid between matches and it inspired me to push on. The next drop I got was a 98 range impulse unstoppable. It was my 28 drop for the weekend and the first with impulse. That was a grind but I feel rewarded & yeah it feels good. Gg
Whoaaaa! That’s a crazy story! Gg!
Pro tip, glaives feel SO different on controller versus keyboard. If you can plug a controller into your PC try it. I NEVER miss a shot on controller, it is like magneto grabbing wolverine. I miss LOTS of shots on keyboard at mid range.
Hmmm. Good insight! I guess that high aim assist value must be doing work!
It's amazing how cross puts out a video saying the glaive is shit below shit and then this comes out. Really goes to show how two people can see the same thing differently. Then again, he's still crusty about he snytho/glaive nerf.
Yeah, this just goes to show how preferential Destiny truly is. Depending on how you use a weapon, your playstyle, and what you enjoy, you could love or hate any weapon in the game.
ngl the "please subscribe" bit actually made me subscribe bc i watch most of your vid releases but forgot to hit sub 💀
Haha glad to hear it. That’s kinda why I put it there 😅 sometimes just hearing the words reminds people who have been watching a while. Glad to have ya here!
i would argue in favor of replenishing aegis in the third column. i play with glaives a lot and i often find myself in situations where i've got a shot or two in reserves but if i drop shield to reload, i'll go down. sometimes it's because of bad positioning or a missed shot or some other thing i could have avoided by being better, but sometimes there's just unforseen circumstances and you really need that one more bullet. i've played with replenishing aegis on ecliptic distaff enough that i wouldn't pass it up for anything. and being able to combine it with unstoppable force on this trials glaive makes for a dreamy combo. so many rewards for doing the strongest and most unique thing glaives can do: block. it's rare for a piece of loot to be good enough that i'll go out of my way to grind trials for it, but this specific roll on this specific glaive is everything i ever wanted.
Surrounded on judgment of Kelgorath is one of my favorite rolls, though got myself a couple adept Unexpected Resurgence but the best I got was Aegis/Surrounded/swashbuckler.
Definitely easier to pull off surrounded on Judgment, but then again, it won't shoot as fast if you get caught in a bad spot!
I was looking for this video all weekend when trials was up…
I know :( Wish I could get the edits done faster!
@@Legoleflash Don't get me wrong. I still really enjoy and appreciate your content!

"oneshot tricks for pvp"
*cricket noises*
I’m so sad because both my adept rolls have feeding frenzy in first column. But both came with either frenzy/Vorpal or frenzy/Unstoppable force. Maybe it’ll be better than I think for PVE at least?
I can imagine Voltshot with Triton Vice on Arc Hunter being incredibly good
Btw in those early clips, which sidearm were you using? Looked familiar but I can’t put a name on it lol
Yeah! It's Farewell from Season of the Splicer. My personal favorite. :)
Somehow I went flawless and got one of these! Really wanted Feeding Frenzy w/ Voltshot tbh
Nice! Still a great roll even if it isn’t my top pick! Gg!!!
Have you tried the Surrounded roll with Triton Vice in pvp?
I have two of these adept glaives, one meant for melee, Thresh+Close to Melee, and one for shooting, Impulse+Voltshot. Can say that these are both viable in their own ways but man does the impulse volt hit hard
Exactly! Impulse + voltshot is so good
I want this roll so badly
@Legoleflash could you test it out with Bakris by chance?
only got 1 impulse amplifier (it had unstoppable force) and it's basically the the pvp roll you mentioned it gets to 98 range
but I just wanted the roll for pve 😂
Do you have any intention of doing a glaive guide for the current state of the game? I didn't even know they were nerfed in lightfall, and I'm an avid player. I've always fantasized about giving them a serious go, but dont know what has survived any changes since thier hay day after the post witch queen launch buff. Have you more or less abandoned them in this meta? I hardly see them in the wild anymore.
My problem with this glaive is one-fold: you have to grind Trials to get a halfway decent roll, and even PvP mains probably hate to do that -- its time is limited and the skill ceiling is that much higher. Additionally, now that it's been made more accessible and both comp and SBMM are things in Shaxx's crucible modes, again, the floor has been lowered for ToO... Which means potentially bad matchups and uncooperative/unknowledgeable teammates.
It's like I keep saying: some things are relatively more elite and even players who THINK they're elite should probably reconsider those things.
I'm one of those people suffering from Dunning-Kruger effects - actually that's everybody - as even in my prime of primes I'd have been hard-pressed to stomp in Trials, and I'm now 3+ months away from turning 37. So it's not like I do well in Trials, most of the time. I hardly find the time to devote a weekend to it and maybe like 3x a season I end up playing it last-minute on a Tuesday morning before reset (like today, again).
Bc of that, you're better off chasing other CRAFTABLE glaives. Even Nezarec's, the other adaptive arc, feels great to use without higher stats (which means the extra stats, including first/second column nonsense, are just icing on cakes which matters... in 7th-round pool of Trials. Lol).
I'm surprised that Light.gg has Impulse Amp rated so low. I've been using that as my go-to on both rockets and glaives (sure ALH is great on a rocket launcher but it's not like the RNG has been great for those for me).
I actually really like Tilting at Windmills, but the caveat is that it was the first thing I re-crafted on my first glaive (Enigma, everyone's first, ostensibly), and I enhanced it and never looked back. I had PvP kills with it as late as this year. So I have 5 rolls of Unexpected Resurgence and "Tilt + Close to Melee" is one of them. Slaps pretty hard for a defensive playstyle.
I can't recommend Surrounded. If you play by instinct like I do, rather than wits (and you'd need fast reaction times for my style, which I still have), you may find yourself in unfavourable situations very often: many-versus-you, in which you are LIKELY gonna lose anyway; or many-versus-many, in which your teammates either confuse, obstruct you or just mow down enough opponents to un-trigger "surrounded" perk. And it'll never get triggered/activated (ugh, "proc'd") if it's your team swarming a single opponent -- which can happen a lot in objective-based 6v6 and Iron Banner (don't swarm and chase easy opponents willy nilly, folks, unless the one ally you have to leave behind to fend for themself, against the rest of the enemy team, is really really good). In PvE, though, "Surrounded" works even better with certain [melee] exotics, especially Titan's Synthoceps.
Voltshot... I don't recommend this for PvE. Voltshot is now almost always better on a fast-reloading weapon, especially primaries. Glaives will likely never reload as fast as the slowest primary (on average overall), but the more pertinent factor is ammo: you can ALWAYS trigger a voltshot with a primary. If you run out of ammo on a special (which happens more often than you'd think), your next shot becomes nothing. Bungie STILL hasn't mentioned perk changes for glaives, even with what they just announced for the "rework" in S23, but voltshot would've been much much better if it worked with glaive melees as well -- but then again so would've any damage perk, like Swashbuckler.
Speaking of Swashbuckler... This is only good if you want to melee first and shoot later. Otherwise you're churning through ammo to get max swashbuckler stacks. I have an ALH + Swash roll and that's good for horsing around.
Shot Swap was only really viable for ubiquitous use when Imp Amp was in the 4th column. Then you could pull of shenanigans in any situation: quickly swapping to get a finishing shot or good opener on a fast opponent (who's moving in/out of cover, really), provided you had a stack tbw. It also works for quickly swapping to get a melee final blow and such, but now that's the only option that's most likely to happen. Also, I believe it doesn't get a stack on melee kills anyway. I find that shot swap works a helluva lot better for primaries, due to you having far more chances to build stacks with them and also have ammo to use it with. Glaives HURT in pvp bc of low mags, lower reloads, and the dearth of special drops in some modes (and losing your ammo when you die). If you don't get Imp Amp then the chance for missing a shot skyrockets, making shot swap pointless - hard to activate and hard to make use of when activated.
Not me coming in here hoping that you would tell me Rampage was good since i got it on both of my rolls😅. I did get surrounded and frenzy so cool i guess. Anyways great video again man! Im glad you actually have creative yet viable takes on new weapons! Keep doing you
Haha! Oh noooo!!!! That is really funny though. Thank you for the kind words Manny!
how do you think the triton vice hunter exotic would work with this?
I got a feeling the strand glaive will end up being exotic and similar to lumina / navigator in the way of buffing teammates / debuffing enemies
I really hope they just make a legendary one first. I feel like exotics get pushed into “look! It’s in an new spot!” But then they have to rework them because then they make legendaries that do the same thing. Fingers crossed!
I got a max range roll with impulse and either swash or surrounded. Might be fun to mess around with in 6’s, but just kind of unimpressed so far. Feel meh in general about glaives in the current sandbox, but I haven’t tried to main them for an extended period either.
Yeah, can be a tough adjustment in this meta, but I’ve found quite a few uses for them.
Quick PvE perk recommendation for the greasy luck?
Replenishing aegis is actually useful in pvp since your shots are slow enough to reload 2 bullets for a kill
Won’t voltshot trigger feeding frenzy times 4 or 5 when getting kills? So only the first reload would be slow
Even if it does how often are you getting 4-5 kills? Impulse feels like the much safer bet for the large majority of your play time.
@@Legoleflash Can confirm. Took it though the dungeon and Tier 7 Deep Dive. Slow start up but Feeding Frenzy is worth it if you can keep the kills up. I was also using the new seasonal hunter exotic that boosts glaives. So Voltshot on top of the explosion plus the artifact boosts made this EXTREMELY effective. I also threw Adept Reload on it for a bit more flow
I got both surrounded and voltshot on mine which is great, but I unfortunately got that tilting windmills perk. I won't complain though, I generally hate glaives and this one doesn't feel like complete crap lol
Nice! This is awesome to hear!
I wish there was something interesting other than impulse in the left column. Would have been cool to have something like discord and cascade point or some other unique combination.
Totally agree. I would have loved to see that too
I need this
Its taken me eozens of engrams but finally got this roll. And it was worth it
glad you show the roll 11 minutes into to a 14 minute video!
It’s timestamped my dude. God roll looks different for everyone so I like explaining the details
@@Legoleflash I will find you.
Hey Lego how did you learn to have such good and effective editing? Was it just something that came with time?
Years YEARS of experience. Been editing professionally for over a decade IRL. 😅
Is the ttk now 0.90? It shows 0.90 ttk on d2foundry
side note, you can also one shot people very easily with judgement of kelgorath by just placing a smoke bomb and waiting for them to go on it. the weaken effect literally always allows for one shots with no damage perks.
I thought it was going to have impulse amplifier in both columns, which would have been really damn funny
LOL that would have been something
judgment of kelgorath is pretty nasty for quick swapping with impulse amp + shot swap especially because of the high dmg from the aggressive frame
Agreed, I do really like it. Just wish I could do impulse AND damage stacking on it.
Glad ya enjoying it I’m not that’s good at pvp to get it
My brain just exploded realizing how good this would be paired with Triton vice on a combination blow Hunter
Isn’t this the same roll that’s good on enigma for pvp?
(Unstoppable + impulse amp)
Indeed! Just more projectile speed (range), damage options, and arc synergy.
Lego why do you have to tell me today! That Bakris build looks fun, I think I would skip on the all around one and go for the unique one
Yeah, it’s definitely the one I’m leaning into!
As a bachelor's of technical writing: *neesh*
That casual "trials partner" name drop. Shoot, I'd HOPE he likes it. 😂 #iykyk
Lol. It’s actually not the same Merc, that’s funny though.
What do you think about the fusion xur has today? As you're a fusion man I'd like your opinion please 👍
Don't love it, not as many range options as it needs to compete!
I DO like the shotgun today for PvE though
@@Legoleflash thanks for the reply 👍
I wouldve def love to grind out for a roll this glaive, but Bungie killed the adept grinding post flawless. It was difficult to even get 1 more after 10 wins. Pain.
It is a little more difficult, I’ll give ya that for sure
Lego, I have 5 of these suckers before I ended up losing my flawless on Friday and then I was busy the rest of the weekend. I was not fortunate to have a roll with impulse amplifier, is it even worth it to run it without impulse, I could juice one to max range for speed increase to like 100 m/a and I have a shot swap one with frenzy. I just wonder if it’s worth it cause the aim assist on these suckers is huge. As always thanks lego
It could be, but I’d also still try to get an impulse one next time it rolls around.
funny... Aztecross, with his video below yours, says its disappointing lol
Oh trust me, I know at this point. Haha.
Legoleflash you didn’t talk about acrobatic dodge granting a 10% damage buff for weapons with radiant:/, I’m surprised
Hey yeah! I didn't want to focus on all the damage stacking, but yes! Radiant is another way to go, I just don't love it for Surrounded because it's so situational (matter of 1.5 seconds) and radiant takes longer to activate whereas bakris is immediate and GETS YOU INTO the situation.
Someone send this to Aztecross!
Haha. It was funny to see his video today compared to this one
Idk what it was but I could not farm rolls this weekend. Had line 16 wins in a row and only had a total of 3 or 4 drop in total even after losing and playing several rounds
Impulse Amplifier is very good on Glaives. Bungie has conditioned me to think they will nerf it, for no other reason than it is such an easy choice.
To be clear, they have NOT said they're nerfing it.
haha I had the same thought!
I got one of these, and it feels good, but I don't feel that much better using it over my Enigma. Just an Arc version with slightly better stats.
Interesting! It feels quite a bit more solid to me, but that's Destiny for ya!
As a Trials weapon I was hoping this would be a game changer and really bring something powerful and different but nope. Voltshot is cool but Im not taking that into any endgame activity
With Getaway Artist you can one shot off of an Unstoppable Force shield block without much work. Arc Souls are good at closing the last little bit of health you need.
You have to let it shoot a BIT more for that to work, 2 arc soul burst, but fun fact, Judgment of Kelgorath can do it in the first arc soul burst if all of them hit! Feels like an instant wipe.
None of my Adepts got Impulse, so I'll be getting the regular one. Still seems good.
RIP my Shards though.
Ah dang! Yeah it's expensive right?!
@Legoleflash I think it's 25 or 50 Shards per roll which adds up really quickly.
Glaives are in an okay spot in PvP, and are very useful in pve.
Hot Take:
I just wish they would at least half revert the shield nerf. Or at least tie damage resistance to Glaive archetype.
I’d be okay if they gave it a BIT back. It’s a real dangerous game to play though. Can get OP FAST
@@Legoleflash I agree with that statement. Where it was before was ridiculous to those who knew what they were doing, now it’s just very tricky. Hopefully whatever the rework is increases people overall view of glaives, they are my favorite special at this point.
At 1:38, is glaive skating with bakris back?! Or is that a old clip? :(
That's just an old clip. I can only dream.
:( rip, but thx for confirming. I got so optimistic 😂
@@benjaminmorgan1087 haha I know that feel!
All i got was feeding frenzy 3 times and then thresh... i was like the glaive is blah so it is what it is... then you post this😢😢
Haha, it's okay, Feeding Frenzy is still SOMETHING. It's just not the most optimal.
The Issue for Glaives is that the Projectile is too much of a focus. It’s a Melee Weapon is it not, why is there no UNGA BUNGA playstyle ? And No, Close to Melee doesn’t cut it and is an excuse for having Majority of Perks not working for Melees .
Agreed. They could definitely double down a bit more on that side
I’m just gonna be honest. No matter how good this glaive is, It’s really annoying how we don’t have a stasis or strand or even an exotic kinetic glaive. Idk what the hell they are waiting for.
Hey I'm with you on that one!
@@Legoleflash Oh i wasnt expecting a response. I will still get this glaive tho ! Also can you make a video on the rapid fire gaive?
@@jagan9235 If RNG will drop it for me! HAHA. I've farmed it for hours and haven't got a single one yet. LOL
That's the first glaive that I like inside of pve. Other glaives are just a waste of slot for me (except for "tool glaives" like vexcalibur or titan exotic one, forgot the name). But this one can do pretty noticable damage with voltshot, I've even created a hunter build with new exotic gloves and was pleasently surprised that it did pretty nice job at killing stuff. I don't care about glaives in pvp though cause I will always be a fusion guy)
That’s awesome! Exactly how I was running it. I’m going to take it for a spin in some PvE to prep for grandmasters as well
@@Legoleflash yep, it will perform nicely in GMs. I clear master sector solo flawless every day with this build. It also contains heavy stasis glaive: shoot a voltshot projectile in a boss/champ and plant him on a empowered stasis fork. Always works😁
@@Legoleflash confirmed. Lightblade like a cake walk with glaives.
@@Sargatas Yooo that's awesome to hear
I really wish this glaive would have been more unique and placed in the kinetic slot as a strand glaive. In the energy slot I’m not sure I ever use this over a fusion in PVP.
I would have really enjoyed that too! Maybe next time
Finally, my correct opinion
Everyone hating on this thing before it was even available and I'm over here thinking, I'll wait for the Lego video. Oh look at that the thing is a monster and every naysayers is just a glaive hater cause they bad with them or just "its not hc/shotty so its bad".
MMMMHMMMM. I didn't think I'd like it either, but here I am! Got to give everything a fair shot.
Pretty bummed about falling at the gates this weekend…
Noooooo!! You got this on the next run!
I ended up getting 20 adept versions when it was up, not a single max range and my best role is a normal version, not adept. The glaive is trash for the most part with the potential to be passable, but the luck required for it to be great is unrealistic for most. Prob less than 0.1% of the already few that played during that week got a perfect roll, and another weapon prob does better with less effort and many times easier to get. These are among the issues with glaives. Sad bc I like this glaive too.
What’s a perfect roll for this?
Couldnt get impulse on any of my rolls, so feeding frenzy will have to suffice 😂😂😂
Hey that’ll do!
Go get this glaive go flawless like it's no problem at all. So annoying when people put thumbnails like that
What? You can earn trials rep without flawless and it’s still a great weapon. Sorry if the video disappointed in some way though.
@@Legoleflash the video didn't disappoint at all. It was great. Just CZcamsrs and people go flawless always make it out to be getting weapons from trials is the easiest thing in the world. If you play trials and you lose every match it takes so long to get a single rep that it's really pointless unless your already that good. Really no point to get trials weapons unless their adept anyways
Finally someone gets it😂
Can't judge it before playing it, and once you do it's VERY surprising. You might even say it's... Unexpected!
This videos is telling me to run over 7 Resil lol. Got a IA and Vorpal roll. Haven't been able to try it because well... Glaive. With the knowledge from this video I'm down to give it a shot. Appreciate you.
Why couldn't it be the rapid frame like from the dungeon?
I do agree with you there
I got so many adept drops and not a single one with impulse amplifier. RIP
Rip!!! Dang!
I'm just mad they took away the arguably best roll.
impulse + replenishing aegis
edit: also, I really wish impulse didn't feel near-mandatory on glaives. It's better than it used to be, but still..
they need to add like a 20% buff to glaive projectile speed, and then reduce impulse's impact by 20%, so that the total with impulse is identical but the base velocity is way higher.
You know I'm kind of with you for PvP. Impulse was super interesting in the right column.
@@Legoleflash It's exactly what I thought of when I first saw the glaive.
Now most of the pvp rolls are something another already does, but with better stats.
I don't need to grind trials because it's the only damn thing that drops for me AGHHHHHHHHHHHHH
