I think Shawn has to be one of the coolest car guys in the scene. He doesn't claim to know everything, he's so enthusiastic about each vehicle and he's clearly a genuinely nice guy. Thank you and keep up the good work, man. 👍
How it sits, the classic wheels, the color, the sound... Everything about this car is everything I love about American muscle. It's just so dead spot on and drop dead gorgeous ALL the way man!
Loving that supercharger whine. Reminds me of my 1st car....'66 Chevelle, 396, 4-speed car. Bought when I was 17. Was stupid and ga-ga about it so ignored all the signs. Motor exploded within a month. Rebuilt it with lots of help. Then clutch went, then blew out diff. All in one summer. Learned a lot that summer. Kept it thru next summer then sold it for money for college.
@@AutotopiaLA A lot of fun for 2 summers. Father of a friend of mine was a GM mechanic at that time so I got all the parts really cheap. Got a deal on the machining too. The 2nd summer I had the car I spent most weekends at a local dragstrip racing the Chevelle. Great times.
One of my all time favorite Chevys is the 66 Chevelle. It’s the car that got me started into cars when I was 12. The only difference was my neighbor’s cool 66 only had a 283 with 3 speed manual. With the headers and glass packs it sounded like a beast to a 12 year old. What a great car to showcase!
@@AutotopiaLA I especially liked the detail of the metalwork (or fiberglass work) around the blower opening in the hood. I never new such great cars were minutes away from where I live. I'll definitely be on the look out for this car and any other car that may cruise the roads shown in your video. Keep up the excellent work.
That is one amazing build. They got it right. From the stance, the color to the interior.. Not your typical chevelle. As always thanks for showing these amazing vehicles.
They nailed it on every level. Kent and his dad Bob have some incredible builds and we’ll continue showing their collection over time. So many great builds and just the coolest people
For me this 66 Chevelle is the most perfect car such an incredible build the paint, stance interior and then the badass blown engine WOW by the way you looked afraid of it when driving it lmao
You see a lot of obnoxious, over the top, just ridiculous builds. This is truly a classic time piece of elegance, style, sophistication performance, and brute horse power. Exciting to watch.
'66 Chevelle's are one of my favorite body styles! This particular car is over the top in all the right ways. Great Build, Cool Owner and great video! Thank Shawn
That is MEANNNNN. I had a 66 Chevelle....almost identical color when we were done with it. 400 Hp but enough to pull the front wheels off the ground. Monster rumble. Would love to have one again!
The pro touring add big blower through the hood look is killer. Just kool ss hell. This car rrminds me of the Z28
@@AutotopiaLA He did what the guy in the last video or the one before did with that 71 cuda, he did minor custom touches to the interior and left the body alone, except for the hole in the hood for the blower.
Out of all the insanely good cars in this channel this is the one for me, the stance, the blower, and just the drivability of it. I always have said I want a car with fat rear tires and a blower sticking out the hood haha
@@davidsegovia2397 Ultimately line locks allow you to only utilize the the front brakes so the rear tires can spin freely.
