To even negotiate that a football doesn't move awkwardly WHILE players are in the act of potential recovery is insane. By the time Cam locates the ball and gets close, bodies are already flying. If you time it, by the time Cam would get down, its already moved. The game had missed calls. Jerricho caught the ball. Peyton couldn't retire with less rings than Eli.
It's not whether or not he dived for the ball. Obviously it would have better for him to at least try. It was the body language and optics. You could clearly tell Cam had absolutely zero intention of giving a damn about the game at that point.

2. Why continue to call play action if you have no time? You turn your back to the defense and/or delay your dropback. Immediately give up the quick-shot option.
3. Stew was indeed hurt, as well as TD headed into that game, tho he played. Almost nobody was biting on the PA's and situational football offensively was not being played.
People talk constantly about protecting your QB bc it’s so rare to have one that is a consistent leader.

Congrats to Cam on his new podcast. I am on my 3rd one now after a coworker was raving about it insisting I check it out. By far, some of the best and (2 most important) unbiased and on hands experience insight I found to date. I love the clip where McIntyre not only tried his best to make Cam look bad but completely discredit his NFL career like a magician trying to fool his audience. To say Dak Prescott's name in the same sentence as Cam is laughable. Dak is 2 and 5 in his playoff career...Cam put a team on his back and took them 15 and 1 and all the way to the superbowl...league mvp..one of the most unstoppable forces for a 2 year period the league has ever seen. Could you imagine if Cam had played for Dallas, with that O line, his ability to extend plays when they break down. He gets 1 maybe 2 superbowls in Dallas. Analysts like McIntyre should be held responsible for trying to defame Cam while presenting such a deceiving and manipulating argument. 3,837 yards, 35 passing touchdowns, over 600 yards rushing and 10 rushing touchdowns. Did I leave out his 99.4 passer rating? His 2015 season as a quarterback can stand against any in NFL history. Love how McIntrye says let's take a quick glance at the stats. He says that because the only way he can trick and deceive his audience is to show them quickly while using sleight of hand. Unfortunately for him he’s like a 40 year old clown doing weekend bday parties for 10 year olds and not David Copperfield.

My opinion on this Manager v Changer (and I'm nobody):: Trent Dilfer has said ON AIR as a commentator that he was a game manager who won a Super Bowl. He has said the same about other QBs that play at a high level. No one argued with him about it nor was it an issue weeks after he spoke on it. Cam literally has said the EXACT SAME THING with a fuller explanation, and comfortable talking heads and journalists came at him. I feel like a lot of it is jealousy of how he's successful now OFF the field as he has stepped into their space. No other in-active or retired player that has stopped playing in the last 10 years and moved into the podcast space has caught on like he has, except Ryan Clark on the Pivot. The same energy Cam brought on the field is the same energy he's speaking into the mic. And because he played the game, the knowledge runs deeper, and people are paying attention. So the slander and "oh he's just a hater" talk at this point, and this far out from when it was said, means the speaker has some other agenda. #proven
