My hair stylist introduced me to Bosley products. She had a client bring them to her to use on her. They work great on fine hair. The volumizing mouse and volumizing and thickening nourishing leave in are fantastic for fine hair. I’ve repurchased both!
Fine hair girl here. The Revlon dryer brush on low burned my hair right off. My hair was 90% dry and I used heat protectors. I know it works great for a lot of people but it's not for everyone.
My hairdresser told me not to use Revlon dryer brush, because it gets too hot, and breaks your hair. I have not used dryer brushed for a year, and my hair is much better.
I love the OG Revlon (comes with 2 size brushes) drier brush and cut back because stylist said it gets as hot as a microwave. Heat definitely plays a huge role especially if you have wavy hair blow dried straight but it is a lot.
I agree. I use the revolt dryer brush and during drying I smell burned hair. Also it leaves my hair very dry looking :(
I so needed this today Stephanie! Thank you.
I used the Briogeo for years along with a couple Olaplex products. I still use the Olaplex products but switched to Pureology shampoo and conditioner when the Briogeo was unavailable for several weeks. I love the Living Proof no friz humidity shield, works well in the Houston humidity.
For any of you fellow fine hair peeps who cannot get any curling wand or other tool to curl your fine hair and have it hold for more than an hour or two try the old school Richard Caruso steam rollers! They totally work and depending on how you roll up the sections you can get beach looser waves or tighter traditional curls. They have been my holy grail for years now and I get a lot of comments on my hair when I do it. Hot Tools made a version too but not sure if they still do.
The fine hair struggle is real! 😜
wow, can't believe they still sell those. I remember my sister used those back in the day. I have to try it.
Thanks for talking about hair tools! I enjoyed hearing why you choose one tool over another from day to day and traveling.
Loved this video & recommendations!! I have always had fine hair and struggle with it more now that I am older. I will def be ordering quite a few of these products!!
Can't wait to try some of these recommendations. My hair is very similar. Thank you so much. I loved this!
Olaplex 4-5 always leaves my fine blonde colored hair shiny. My hair dresser is always impressed.
I have similar hair type to yours,so it’s encouraging to see we use similar products! I use the Ouai detox shampoo once a week (LOVE that stuff). I also like the Ouai volume spray and IGK texture spray. I’ve been on the hunt for a good conditioner. I will check out the Briogio. Thanks for all the recommendations!
Oh I'm so happy that you did this! I too have fine hair. I've tried a couple of the products that you have shared and they have worked just as you've said!
Thank you for keeping us company !
Thank you!
Ok I’m so here for this. Yes. No one does straight hair videos. Well, the people I follow. Love this I have thin straight hair to waist. Can’t wait for this Perfect video
I love the Dyson Airwrap. I use it more for curling than I originally did. Practice makes perfect. Xx
Thank you for this video Stephanie! One thing I found that helps decrease frizz is to not keep your hair in a towel after shampoo and conditioning. Just pat dry a bit after and comb through, then style. My thinking is the towel produces steam and then frizz. Could be wrong about the steam theory, but it’s helped me. Can’t wait to watch your other vides, just subscribed. 😊
I love that briogio set! I also really like the entire ghost line from verb. Just got the volume shampoo and conditioner from jvn to try, so wish me luck! Thanks for the video!
So many great recs, thank you!
So happy you made this video, i have fine hair so this was perfect, i use the Olaplex shampoo and conditioner, the Ouai detox shampoo, i love the Living proof advanced clean dry shampoo its amazing, i didn't like the first dry shampoo they had but the advanced clean is miles better. I'm definitely going to try the IGK texture spray, I'm trying the Oribe texturing spray at the moment and its ok but i think it works just like a dry shampoo and its pricey i just bought the travel size. I love my GHD straighteners I've used it for yrs
I'm not surprised you have so many Living Proof products..they're great and fit into my budget. XXOO ❤️
Hi thank you for sharing it’s a must to keep your hair in good condition as were always styling our hair great tips 🌸
Great informative video, Stephanie 👍🏼
Definitely going to check a few items out and love Alterna 😘♥️
This was a great video for me ! It gets pretty steamy here in Atlanta, too! Thanks for the thorough review of hair products! Random request: Since you go to the beach, can you do a what you need for the beach, such as sunscreen, beach cover-ups, hats, or anything else? I’m looking for a cover-up that is not too see-through and a UPF hat!
Ty for all these options, you brought a lot to the table to choose from. :)
This video was so helpful thank you 😊 I struggle with finding hair products for my fine hair.
You are truly an amazing content creator! 🙌🏼🥰
Thanks Sandra!
To prevent clogging I found that if I rinse off the nozzle well with water after using, it helps prevent clogging. Love your videos
Big fan of these hair videos! A tutorial of your curly hair looks would be great!!
I’m leaving to love my fine hair bc of this channel I have struggled so much with it going to start using ur recommendations
Saving this video. Thanks Sis!
Stephanie, you are looking gorgeous. There are so many helpful items in your video. I do love Kerastase products xx
Thank you Hazel!
The lids are with the socks that go missing! The struggle is real😀 Love your channel and content. Thanks for all your hard work.
Guuurrrrrrllll I have put almost everything in my basket! I’m trusting you!! 😆
Well done! Thank you!
Thanks Stephanie 😉 Im still loving my new auto curler device 😁
Thank you,i need a hair product video.I go try the kerastase.A very nice day.
This is such a helpful video for fine hair in the humidity 😊
Thanks Laura!
Don’t understand how you don’t have more subscribers! Loved this video. Much needed recommendations
Love Kerastase great for fine hair I also use the green bottle Volumique
I use Bondi Boost HG andRapid Repair and LOVE them!
Love the color of your hair here
Looks like my comment disappeared 👻 I have hair similar to yours and I love Davines (pronounced Da-ven-ess) Replumping shampoo and conditioner. It’s an indie brand my stylist carries, but they also have an Amazon store. I also enjoy their Liquid Spell for adding volume, and their dry shampoos are worth checking out, as well.
Can you link the video where you talked about the GHD oval wand for beach waves? I tired searching and can’t find it.
Dyson blow dryer for years now. Hope it never breaks! Cutting down time of blow drying by half:)
I have zero lids. They go to play with all the socks I loose. Thanks to you, I love the Bondi Boost stuff.
Haha!! So true!
You look so glowing 🌞👍
The Amazon Sinland hair wraps are so good. I have purchased them as gifts.
Thank you for these suggestions! I'm ALWAYS looking for something for my somewhat thick yet fine hair. BTW.....I lose lids to almost everything! Particularly tooth paste and beauty products. I feel your pain! LOL
Have you tried the morranco oil lightweight one for fine hair mask?
I would love an updated video. We have the same hair and live in the same area
What hair gel is best for fine hair to get a strong hold
Hi Stephanie, I have fine/ thin wavy long hair., I'm looking for a good conditioner that will provide some "slip" . Reason being, every time I shampoo, I'm getting a lot of tangles and I notice it's dry like straw on the bottom....any 🙏 suggestions? 🙄. Love you channel ☺️
Stephanie thanks for this helpful video. I am really tempted by the Chi Spin n Curl for my daughter and myself. We Leos have to keep our hair beautiful🦁🌞
My son is a Leo the lion cub ! x
@@hazelt9953 I bet when he gets older his hair will become very important to him🌞🤭
@@LotusLady9 Oh yes, he has always had the softest curls. He used to have his hair straightened when he was about 16, but then he decided against it and the curls are back. I can't believe that he's nearly 33! 🥰🤫I'm showing my age now!
@@hazelt9953 I bet his curls are beautiful! I always wanted natural curls but my hair is coarse and straight but i will take it🌝
Dear back to back watching your fine hair care routine videos..PL suggest me a volume product & leave in for thin Short hair.. also I don't use any heat .. only air dry..☺️
I'm so sad. I have thin hair and was looking forward to trying the Moroccan Oil products. I bought a sample of the hairspray and it has a scent that gives me a headache. :( I wish more 'no fragrance' products were available. Thanks for this video, other than the scent concerns, it was great!
I, too, have very fine hair, but I found that the Revlon Oval brush damaged my hair pretty badly. I wish I'd never tried it.
Same!
Such great videos!! Learning so much. How do I join!?
I rather be low maintenance. I don’t have that kind of time anymore. Dyson blow dryer love. I like Paul Mitchell Wild Ginger awapuhi moisturizing lather shampoo and the awapuhi keratin cream rinse. No tangles! Tried Olaplex #5 conditioner, but on my hair, still prefer the Paul Mitchell!
Lids from cans like that, I lose all the time! Sometimes they go on vaca, sometimes I pitch them in the trash can because they pissed me off because I stupidly tried fitting the wrong lid on a product. Kerastase smells sooooooooo good!
lollllll
What bindi products to get if you suffer from lkoecia? Thanks
I'm sorry but I'm not familiar with that condition. You may want to email them directly
@@StephanieMarie ok causes hair to thin or fall out
Can you recommend where to start for my hair? It's gray, I color my hair, it got thin. My hair texture is thin, but I used to have so much more hair. The back is fuzzy, the ends look stringy. The front and sides are ok. I don't normally dry my hair. I sometimes dry the front. My length is about the same as yours. Maybe an inch shorter.
Hairdressers have not given any good advise. I hope you can guide me. Thanks.
I find when I don’t dry it at all, it looks way more limp. Even flipping it upside down for a bit to give the roots lift helps. Have you tried drying it and smoothing it with a brush so it smooths it and helps it not look stringy?
@@StephanieMarie I'll try what you said. Which products would you recommend that I try too? Thank you for responding.
Omg, that is me! Fly away light weight, it kills me. 56 y/o.
I use all Aveda products as I love them over 20 years. Have you ever tried their line?
Many years ago. They’re nice 👍🏼
I went to the Aveda Institute for Esthetics, and have been a huge fan of their hair products for years! I have fine, thin hair, and the Volumizing Spray is one of my holy grail products.
@@daynad8104 I like the phomollient foam as well very good for fine hair
Do you have a video that demonstrates the Revlon brush, or any others?
I don’t but my friend Risa does makeup does!
@@StephanieMarie Thank you. What's her channel called?
@@valerie8401, the name of her channel is Risa Does Makeup.
@@daynad8104 Thank you!
That Verb Ghost Prep has silicone in it. Just ask Google. Dern was hopeful
I bought Kerastase and i can't stand the sent it covers my perfume. It's the conditioner i think , it smells so strong. This said the quality is very good but i won't repurchase.
I'm not poor by any means and do buy several professional quality hair products but if I purchased even half of the products and tools you've featured here, I'd have to eat mac n cheese for a month. Just saying.
LOL! ;) Thinking the same thing. ;)
The kids go with the socks that go missing from the dryer!
I lose the lids all the time! I know I didn't throw them away, so where do they go???
It’s a mystery!
@@StephanieMarie, thank you for all your content. I love your channel and can't wait each week to see what you have in store. I have straight fine hair and live in a humid climate so today's video was perfect for me! Thanks for all you do!
Aw thank you so much Andra! 💕
Also. Could you do a shorter length video (under 10 minutes) just focusing on hair oils?
How often do you wash your hair?
It depends - I try to go every other day but for it to look really good, I should wash it daily. I know that’s not the best, but it’s how my hair has always been
Idk if anyone else can relate but noooo way can I afford your routine especially with the economy right now ☹️
Hundreds of dollars worth of products. My daughter has naturally curly hair and her products aren't even that expensive. No one needs to spend that much to get your hair to look like that.
They absolutely don’t. This is what *I* use and enjoy. You’re free to use whatever you want to use 👍🏼
The Suave with Rose Oil set has done my fine & thin hair wonders. I've also found that the way I shampoo, rinse, and condition matters almost more than what I actually use to clean and condition my hair.
As for a lightweight oil, the Extra Lightweight Argon Oil of Morocco is about $8 a bottle and I loooove it. It does not weigh my hair down, it fights frizz, and it smells divine, but the scent is strong and it does linger for a couple hours, so don't try it if stronger scents aren't for you.
I also like using men's pomades for texture. Even the generic ones at Walmart are great for my hair and it only takes a tiny bit. I rub between my hands until it looks like it's almost all gone, then kinda use my hands to manipulate the ends so they look blunt and uniform. It holds for a long time, doesn't make my hair stiff, and doesn't have much of a scent.
Hope these things help! I totally understand being broke and still wanting to look great. It's definitely do-able!
Do not try to make other people feel bad for you by using aggressive virtue signalling. It's cheap and obvious.
@@StephanieMarie
Do not pay attention to the weird people who are commenting in order to get some attention.
Lord Yes I lose lids. I lose my combs too.
Id have to get a second job just for the shampoo and conditioner 😳
I fall in a coma after all your talking
Hi Inga! Thank you for leaving this comment. It says so much about your character and who you are as a person that you took the time to type those words in an attempt to make me feel bad. Happy people that are satisfied with their lives just don't go out of their way to leave rude comments to others. I hope you can find the positivity that's clearly lacking in your life.
@StephanieMarie Well said! 👏🏻
