Iâm really sad you are not coming to British Columbia. Most of the best parts of Canada are here. If you have a little extra time, it only takes 5 hours to get to the BC Kootenays from Calgary. Hope you find the time. â€ïž
Ha haâŠmy jaw dropped when you said ânothing else to do hereâ at the TransCanada 1/2 way marker. Literally Chippewa Falls inspired paintings by a Group of 7 painter. Iâm glad you all got to see that beautiful spot. Keep on driving!
You pronounced Sault Ste Marie perfectly; impressive! Lake Superior has the most amazing sunsets! That bug spray-keeps the skeeters, deer and horse flies away.
Lake Susperior is so beautiful. AMAZING
Hi Jimmy and nat .Don,t forget to stop at the Terry Fox monument which is just east of Thunder Bay on your right side . It is a little bit uphill into the parking lot. But worth the stop. Terry Fox is one of our national heroes. He was doing a charity run across Canada on one leg and the monument site was as far as he got before the cancer put him off the road. There has been a national Terry Fox fund raiser every fall for many years now in his memory. Have a great trip.Tom in the maritimes at the NB-NS border
Terry Fox ran a marathon (26 miles) every day with an artificial leg for 4.5 months. Man was a trooper and hero!
After being to Nfld then through Atlantic provinces, Quebec and through Ontario to the Terry Fox monument near Thunder Bay tears flowed to think Terry ran this distance, it was overwhelming. A hero never to be forgotten. His legacy has made a difference.
You absolutely must must must go completely west to b.c.. A crowning jewel in Canada's landscape. Once there take an escape to the gulf islands. You will not regret it. It's Ike going back in time. Absolutely breathtaking. Enjoy your time up here and don forget the hoo doos in Drimheller. Safe travels kids. (Ya I'm old). By by
Would recommend getting off the TC Highway whenever possible. You see a lot more in the small towns and countryside and learn more about Canada.
Thanks! The last frontier is calling.
Land of the Midnight sun. đ
Cool channel but I can't help but wonder why you would only go as far as Calgary. The drive across Canadas beauty starts just a couple hours past there. I've drove across Canada several times you will be really missing out if you don't do the Rockies too. Your van will make it no problem tthis time or year.
From Vancouver with love
Btw the chunks of rock and hills you're seeing are part of the Canadian Shield, which is one of the oldest exposed land masses on earth. It formed about 2.4 BILLION years ago, as a mountain range taller than Everest, but it eroded down and out to make the "plateau" that it is now.
You pronounced Sualt Ste. Marie perfectly. Congrats! Beautiful country up in the Lake of the Woods area, but it's pretty desolate between there and Kenora, so I hope all runs smoothly for you.
You guys never cease to amaze me at your production quality, storytelling, and genuine communication of fun/happiness. I never realized how much goes into quality video production (and I think most people don't) until I start reverse engineering what had to take place in order for these beautiful stories to come together. Thanks for giving me a reason to look forward to Mondays.

Hi j m km m jjnnn n mđđđđđin
Welcome to Canada! Pictographs are images that are painted on rock (usually with crushed rock, often red ochre, mixed with animal fats). Petroglyphs are carvings into the rocks. Looking forward to your journey. We did the same trip years ago. :)
Things to do in Alberta:
- Drumheller
- Banff
- Lake Louise: there's an amazing but pretty strenuous hike behind Lake Louise that takes you to a teahouse in the mountains. You need to bring cash for food/drinks. Highly recommend.
- Lake Louise gondola (good chance of seeing bears)
- Icefields Parkway (I strongly recommend stretching that trip out over a few days just so you can take it all in)
- Jasper: go do the Maligne Lake Cruise, and check out the Miette hot springs
Guys I am so freaking jealous !
You will find lots of places to stay the night free all the west now - rest stops, parks, shopping areas, boat ramps, etc. We went west and north in 2018 in our truck camper for 4 months. Spent less than $400 on camping. Was never asked to move on. Enjoy!
What a fun time . Thank you for sharing this journey with me. Mucho Love From Your Friend In Michigan Tam đđ
So glad to be with you guys! You two are the sweetest couple on you tube. We love all your postings. Wish we could caravan with you, but not sure being in our seventies we could keep up with you "kids". We pray for your safe travels as your trip continues. God be with you always....
Beautiful guys!! The scenery is amazing!! Natalie, PLEASE post your recipes! The quinoa bowl looked amazing!!!
Not that it matters much, but at 4:50, those are frogs, not bugs making all that noise. I love hearing them. They sound like Summer nights to me. Gorgeous campsite!
It's good that you all and Adam could travel together. Positive vibes for Adam & Steph. Safe travels for you all. â€â€
Not sure how long youâre planning on staying around Thunder Bay, some places to visitâŠ..Sleeping Giant Provincial Park, you will find a lot of hiking there, plus you can take a drive to Silver Islet. Terry Fox lookout, the Marina in Thunder Bay, Kakabeka Falls. Welcome to Canada!!!
I was also going to suggest the amethyst mine
What a road trip. My wife and I did Anchorage to Orange County, CA 4 years ago, this one matches that.
Great video guys. You guys are part of Adam's healing process, way to go, keep all the good positive content coming!
Hi from the west coast. I hope you go further than Calgary. Come on out. You'll want to drive fast through Manitoba &. Sask. Altho Saskatoon is nice I lived there ten years. Lol. Enjoy alberta. I was born there. I'm enjoying seeing Ontario as the two times I did a road trip there it was too short. Cheers.
Yea, good to see you have a friend to travel with for a while. I'll probably never go to the Trans Canadian Highway but following along with you two I'll get a chance to see what it's like. And as always, "Enjoy The Adventure." đ€ đâ
Hey guys! Absolutely loving these videos as I live in the area and have camped up and down the shores of Lake Superior. We camped in the exact spot at "campsite #3 cozy creekside on a bay". We however outstayed our welcome and got kicked out by a park ranger!! It's actually part of Lake Superior Provincial Park and overnight camping is not allowed.......if you get caught like we did. lol. I can't wait to watch the next video in the series because I was born and raised in Nipigon. Keep up the awesome work, lovin' it!!
I'm so happy I got Starlink! Game changer for me working on the road.
YAY!!!!
Great to see more of Canada with new friends! †Now to follow Adam and Steph!
They are both so great! Weâre glad to call them friends! đ
They just broke up
Aww I see that Adam is by himself itâs sad they broke up but Natalie and jimmy amazing videos wish I knew how to make the video so smoothly
I Agree With Bandit One78. Your videos just keeping getting better! Subscribed to Adam & Steph â€â€â€
Still rocking the hippie sunglasses. Good for you!
Beautiful people living a deservedly gorgeous life. Your videos are pure joy.
Hi J & N, great video, thanks đ in part to your friend. Nice đ to have a friend to show you the best spots to stay overnight for free, just incredible. Drawback is tons of mosquitoes. The price you pay đ° for nature. See you on the next one, be safe.
Love that you hit up all the best spots. Pancake bay. Old womanâs bay. Etc. it was fun to watch your experience in Ontario. Love ppl enjoying the province and love that you recognize how bad the mosquitos are đ
Looks wonderful! Y'all be careful up there!
Really enjoying the trip across Canada with you guys. Stay safe.
WOW
Wow we have scotland in the UK but this makes Scotland look tiny when putting pancake in a container coming over to the right side of the pond
Use some lavender oil and coconut oil mixed in a spray bottle to ward off the bugs. Healthier than can spray and effective.
Bienvenue Au Canada!! đ
Now, that was a real plunge!
Wow absolutely beautiful, I live in Ontario and didnât even know about these spots. Have fun in Canada đšđŠ
Always so excited for new videos!
Great video, you two! Love that Adam could be your travel buddy for a few days! Looked like everyone had a great time! Super cool you found Pancake Bay - like it was made for you to visit! The editing is amazing. There is always something new and different each video. Be safe in your travels and have a ton of fun!!đ„°đą
I used to live in northern OntarioâŠin North Bay! I moved from there to the Sunny Okanagan in BC to get away from the muggy summers and all those MOSQUITOES! I do miss a lot of the cottage country in ON, but the dry hot summers with very wonderful wine country out west has made up for it. I hope you guys decide to go further west from Alberta and try to at least make it to the interior of BCâŠ.itâs beautiful country out here. Canât wait to see where you go next!
I just found your channel. I live in Ontario and Iâve not been to Lake Superior. Now I know weâre Iâm heading in two weeks. Thank You :)
Hi guys. I'm just watching your video, and you were saying that you wanted to take the Trans Canada highway all the way to Alberta. If I may make a suggestion, you really should try to take a more southern route going west of Winnipeg. The rolling hills of southern Saskatchewan are awesome.
If you plan on making it to Victoria BC Vancouver Island it is were mile 0 Trans Canada Highway begins on the West Coast. This point is were so many cross Canada marathons begin with one foot in the ocean. Yes in Canada we talk with each other. Unfortunately smoke could be with you for a few days across the prairies. It first fire year. Ontario has so many lakes but the prairies not so much as you will see.
The centre of Canada is actually just east of Winnipeg, there's a monument.
Love your drone videos. Just stunning.
Glad you discovered Chippewa Falls by the half-way marker.
Oh, and you said "Sault Ste. Marie" just fine, Natalie.
Thanks for sharing the beautiful sites of canada.
Safe and fun travels.
Big fat hugs.
â„ïžđđ€đâ„ïž
Had to give a thumbs up just for the Letterkenny references. Stay safe and enjoy.
Your pronunciation of the Soo was just right, at least for us anglophone Canucks.
Great to be along with you in Northern Ontario! Itâs been a while but I have many fond memories - except for the mosquitoes đź
When I retire in a few years, I hope to take the same path and this will serve as a good guide. So I thank you for this.
That second spot you camped at, I had a wind come up there and rip open my roof box one year. Tore the front latch right off, but I found it right in the middle of the highway so we could continue on our drive! LOL
Van life allows you to take life at a slower pace make sure to take advantage of it! Happy that Adam was able to show you Amazing Sites! Enjoy the trip take in all the local flavor you can! Jumping over to subscribe to Adam&Steph! Wondering about Shellyâs Nest hope allâs well with them! All The Best! Be Well Be Safe & Stay Blessed.
We are doing well. We took a short break to visit family and friends and get a few things taken care of in South/North Carolina. We have a video being released tomorrow (6-20).đđą
Happy things are good! Enjoy Family,Friends & the relaxing down time! Thanks for the reply! All The Best! Be Well Be Safe & Stay Blessed.
Good to see you folks again Canada looks great Adam is so sweet love you Pete cape town south Africa looking forward to seeing you soon
Love my Starlink!
Wow! Just wow! What beautiful sites.
I met Adam in a parking lot at the beach in Hamilton a couple months ago. He was with a friend whose name I forgot. I followed both of them using the wrong account. I live in a 1987 roadtrek and Iâm currently working in a 2400 acre abandoned quarry in Ontario if youâre still in the area and interested in camping somewhere different.
See you in British Columbia, in a few more days! About an hour west of Calgary , prepare to have your minds blown!
You guys better visit the Okanagan Valley, or youâll miss the BEST spot in the whole country!
Peace - from Lake Country, BC!
Hi,đââïž from Maine your so lucky to take this tripđ safe travels.
Beautiful video! So cool to see you driving through the area where I grew up! (Have been in Toronto a long time now). You pronounced Sault Ste. Marie perfectly - locals call it "the Soo". Enjoy the rest of your Canadian tour!
What beautiful places! You are making memories that will last a lifetime. I am so glad you are sharing them with us. See you next week...stay safe! So much live from SC, Janeâ€đ
Hey, just found your channel this week. When you hit Calgary area, you will want to add trying ginger beef and a ceaser to your bucket list (not necessarily at the same meal). Both were invented in Calgary.
In alberta I also recommend checking out dinosaur provincial park and drumheller area for a great combination of dinosaurs and breathtaking scenery. Less busy than Banff as well.
Welcome to Canada, Timmins Here.. I make a bug repelent, its Castor oil eucalyptus oil it smothers them as they land works wonders and is really healthy for skin..
I'm from Sault Ste Marie. It's cool to see you enjoying some of the places I've grown up around. :)
I really enjoyed the view through the windshield taking in the roadway and awesome greenery of trees!!! Its nice to travel in a group of friends. Take your time and like a spunge absorb the sights, sounds, and the memories along the way. Thanks for sharing. Toledo đ
Awesome video. Canada is a beautiful country.
New subscriber, Canadian here, good job guys, and yes, you did pronounce Sault Ste Marie correct !
I live in Toronto Ontario it is nice heređ happy you like it. you just did a great trip
If you're still in Thunder Bay, try a Persian, a Sally-ann and maybe some bon-bon spare ribs.
Always remember, you will never regret the things you see and do, only the things you don't.
See and do as much as possible, don't pass up on a opportunity
You are almost in Manitoba where the provincial (state) bird is the mosquito! I buy Citrobug (made for horses) for our dogs and myself. DEET scares me. It's great to see my country through your eyes.
The wildfires have been devastating coast to coast. Thanks to all the countries who sent firefighters to relieve our exhausted men and women.
P.S. We
â€â€â€ Starlink!
Wow wow wow! Thanks for sharingâ€
That was great guys! Adam is a hoot! Keep on rolling!
Thanks for the video đ
I have driven across Canada 8 times and have learned where the choice places are , like Pancake bay. I say that you show leave the trans Canada Hwy at Winnipeg and drive the Red Coat Trail , the southern route across the Prairies, a very historic route, the original route across the country. Read up on it and do it.
Wait till you get to the prairies, the bugs will carry you away, I lived in the Canadian prairies for 36 years.
One pro tip, avoid driving early morning and late night, the mosquitoes can be horrible and will plug up your radiator, most people have screens in front of the rad
Really nice places you found to stop!
You wanted some recommendations for things uniquely Canadian: McIntosh Toffee (hard to find but worth the search); Rogers Chocolates, made in Victoria, but should be available at Banff; smoked Sockeye Salmon--make sure it's wild and from a First Nations producer. Also, if you're at a mall, Laura Secord chocolates are delicious, and Laura Secord is a heroine of the War of 1812.
Sad you guys won't be coming to B.C., It's really beautiful!
Waves on Lake Superior look a lot calmer than on Michigan beaches. Simply beautiful. Enjoy the rest of your trip through Canada.
Your pronunciation of Sault Ste. Marie was good, most Americans say salt.
I totally get travel FOMO. Watching this is making me miss when I drove over Lake Superior (the other direction). I've been a lot of places and this is one of my favorite. Highlight for me was probably Sleeping Giant Provincial Park.
My wife and I have started following your journey and weâre really enjoying your videos. Oh and I very much appreciate the Letter Kenny reference! Stay safe and enjoy Canada.
I'm not sure if you are aware of this but Letterkenny is filmed in Sudbury which you visited recently.
I totally like hanging out on Lake Superior, currently on the Michigan side near the Pictured Rocks, but I was up at Grand Portage, Minnesota just south of Thunder Bay a couple of weeks ago. Seriously y'all having way too much fun. P.S. - skeeters are way bad down here too.
Hey guys, love your channel!
Ouimet Canyon 60km east of Thunder Bay might interest you. Get ready for Manitoba lakes and beaches. Keep up the good work.
You are too young to remember Avon's Skin So Soft that repelled mosquitos. However, Johnson and Johnson's baby creamy oil with aloe and vitamin e works the same for me.
Alaska mosquito's would bite right thru "skin so soft".
They used to thank me for the blood meal and their soft little feet after. đ
@@alaskanight940đđđ
You missed the Bannock at Batchawana Bay; now
you will have to make another visit sometime.đ
gordon lightfoot, who just within the past month did a song called the wreck of the edmund fitzgerald. it was an american ship that was carrying a load of iron ore and it sank in lake superior. a very famous story here. also, thunder bay, there is a monument to terry fox
Just found you and am enjoying your travels A lot. THANKS
Hey my friends
I love watching the movie you share, thank you! I clicked the subscribe button to your channel đđđđâ€â€â€â€â€
That bay you camped at in the sault, it looks so familiar, it looks like Havilland bay public park but not to sure, either way i have a feeling I've fished there đ that's awesome, enjoy the north and Canada!!
Soo Saint Marie.....perfect.
Awesome video. I stumbled upon your videos yesterday and enjoying getting caught up. Glad your taking the time to hit all the cool spots along the way. I've lived in northwestern Ontario my whole life and some times have taken for granted how many amazing spots their are right in my back yard. Keep up the good work and enjoy your time here. Lots of places like you saw in this video as you get closer to Thunder Bay.
