Widowmaker almost never works when I used it on enemies. It always works when I tried it without enemies and I'm sure I have correct timing
How do you do widowmaker? I tried but never work the same for riftbreaker
After pressing the attack button to slam down from the air, hold the attack button once more for around 0.5 and release.
It takes timing and it is difficult to perform !
I have the same issue like the rest. I cannot perform Widowmaker like you do. It never jumps into the air. Instead, it brings the hammer down while I'm on the ground and the combo ends. Riftbreaker doesn't work either. It doesn't extend the combo.
widowmaker isn't meant to make you jump into the the air. you press press the triangle button right before your hammer hits the ground during at the end of a combo

You need to Hold the button down and release it when the Purple Circle in Deaths body ALMOST fully shrinks !

Hammers & Axes are the best, Maces are so so, Glaives are the worst.
My man for me the glaves are te best secondary to me and im always looking for some possesed glaive but instead the game just give me fucking hammers, but yeah the hammers are the best for dmg and maces are the worst
