- We visited the Rupes booth at SEMA 2023 to check out the new Rupes HLR 21 6" Random Orbital Polisher. Todd Helm of Rupes USA educated Jeff Davis of The Detailer's Lounge on how the new creation is going to be a great option for professional auto detailers.

Great interview! I cannot wait to get my hands on the HLR15. Been using the nano for a while. I think these are so well thought out and designed. They want to make tools we can use and not have any physical effects. Coming from the Porter Cable, these tools are light years beyond it. Not that the Porter Cable isn’t a great machine. But it will absolutely rattle your hands and arms.

Is he saying the 2024 version of the mini HLR75 has less vibration and even more power than the 2023 version? Nobody is talking about this if it is true. I'd like to see comparisons.
I bought the 2023 model. I thought the trigger was the only difference? If the 2024 has more power, I wish I would have waited.
These rupes machines are the best on the market they are very expensive but boy are they good id love one but for £700 that's expensive
I used to have a mark 2 but it fell out of my truck between jobs. Bought a griots to replace it because I didn’t feel like spending the money. It’s decent but nowhere near as good as the rupes. As soon as I saw pre order live for this machine I ordered. I know it’s going to be a very well built machine

True…there are cheaper versions on the market though. Rupes is known for quality but you will pay much more.
@@TheDetailersLounge Just saying for the cordless models. I just bought a corded 5" Mark I as an enthusiast. Even a Mark III is a bit high dollar if you only decon your car 4 times a year or so.

It’s going to be between $700-$800 depending on what the package comes with. It’s on a couple websites already for pre-order.

Rupes and Flex, then Milwaukee. I’ve used the Milwaukee, was very nice but loud as hell vibrated like crazy and was heavy. It’s a lot cheaper sure, but this Rupes should be better on every other level.

Correct there is no 5" backing plate.
