- Hi guys! I'm back! Hopefully, you all enjoy this video...I filmed it in 3 different locations as I moved so there are quite a few changes in lighting.
I used green copy paper and wire for all of the plants except for the hostas. I used aluminum tape for that one just so the leaves would curl and because the deeply veined texture shows up better. We Love Miniatures also provides a Hostas tutorial and a printout so you can always use their pattern as well.
Here's the link to my first plant video:

Superb video. Thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching!
Wow your work is stunning thank u for sharing.
Amazing..that Hydrangea is stunning, thanku very much x
Awesome video. You are a wonderful teacher. Your voice is soothing. Very clear directions. Easy to follow. Thank you
I use the different leaf punches for my dioramas n stuff I love the oak leaf and birch punch but have a few with 4 different leaf types on one punch! It a great tike for me to go and collect loads of dried leaves just now to punch out! Leaves are best to use there already dead and preserved so won't die and discolour on you and easy to paint Green if needed!
Hydrangea is my favourite too. I love how different soil acididity can give you a Bush with all three colours or just one depending on what you want!
In UK we tend to only be able to buy pink ones as a lot of people don't like them classed as an old person's flower.i had one and you buy a powder to sprinkle along the base to turn flowers blue.but I like many people dug mine up and threw it away lol 🇬🇧
all are so lifelike and well done. Thank you for sharing
I really enjoy your videos. Very upbeat, positive and relaxing. I'll watch anything being made in miniature, but it's an added bous when I enjoy the person narrating. Thanks for posting!
Great tutorial thanks

Wow , I surely missed you & your amazing work. Great job Kat. You are brilliant !
Thessel Matthew I missed you too! I really did!
Hydrangeas would only be the one colour in the garden mainly pink if you have healthy akline soil they thrive in going to acid turns them blue it's not a thing you want to see in them really there near impossible to change back to the pink once they have turned! They are nice blue but tells you that you have issues in your soil! Flower colour of this group of hydrangeas can often lead to confusion as it is affected by the acidity of alkalinity of your gardens soil. Hydrangea flowers are blue on acid soils and pink on alkaline (soils). On a soil with a neutral pH the flower colour can be mixed, often resulting in a mixture of bluish-pink. This only affects blue or pinks specimens, white hydrangeas won’t be affected. I'm a horticulturist I love my garden I deal in Japanese mostly.
So much creativity! You Made Gorgeous Flowers
Great work♡

I am oddly obsessed with your tutorials. I've never seen anything like miniature furniture and things that you make but I love it and your videos are great! Do you sell your stuff? Is there a growing market for miniature creations like yours?
Thank you for the compliments! I may be selling items on Etsy in the near future but for now, no.
Please could you tell me want glues you are using. I am having trouble understanding the audio. Thank you for sharing your wonderful talent.
I have throughly missed your videos Kat!!! So happy to see that you back. Will you be posting up more by chance? :-)
YES! I will try to get back on my 2 a week schedule by the end of Summer.
Wow!! That would be awesome!!! I just love how you work and how you create things. You are a true artist. :-)
Thoroughly*
Hello! Love your videos! Can you tell me please about how big your caladium leaves are? I started making some with 1 inch squares of paper but they look huge. I'm going to try to make all the plants in this video. Thanks!
Caladium leaves can get to be about a foot long. I think I kept my leaves mostly between 1/2 an inch an 3/4 of an inch, though.
Soy colombina en donde puedo conseguir los materiales como las tablas ya cortadas e visto que hay unos paqueticos que traen todo para uno hacer muebles para la cosinas y ollitas. EN MINEATURA
This was Great! I love the colors of all of your plants but what brand of flower punch did you use for your Astilbe leaves?
Eu amei 😍😘
could you use florist wire instead of copper wire, as its already green and bend just as well.
Absolutely you could! I use it all the time for my mini plants and flowers I make. 😊
PLEASE.... What paints do you use on the plastic and the aluminium foil?
Could you share the maker for the punches used for the astilbe please?
Yes! It's Nellie's Choice mini poinsettia paper punch set...it's about $10 on Amazon.
Wow ;3
逼真,漂亮
Glad to see you back, and thanks for the vids - but .... please can you stop wobbling things around so much? It's annoying and a weeee bit sickening. Thank you :-)
