it was so strange when the rain had stopped. obviously there was no traffic and it seemed like the world had stopped for a day. just big lakes where streets used to be. felt really bizarre. must have sucked for ppl whos houses flooded... i was lucky i guess, it only ruined my ford cortina restoration project, which maybe was a good thing haha xD
yeh man it was well bad that i went to park gate cos i heard a dude got caught up in it and i thought it was my lad... it wasnt but they had to get air carried by the RAF. the sound was brill
I remember bein sick that week and had no idea that it was flooded outside then i just saw a boat drive past and i was like :O
it was a disaster, thanks to emergency services who saved so many lives. god bless
