    Everyone uses either a matte monitor or oled C2/C3. I also am in the camp of not wanting to worry about burn in because I want to use it as a productivity monitor as well as gaming. I searched all over the place for a review of QN90 TV as monitor since 1) it’s glossy, 2) beautiful colors and contrast, 3) perfect sizes, and 4) mini LED, and I couldn’t find any. The only review I found was yours! Thank you! I also don’t get why people don’t appreciate QN90 more!

    Ive been using the 90b 43 for a year as a coding monitor, and it is infact the best PC monitor ever made, ironically. Just bought a second one for less than 800 bucks

    I got the FV43u from gigabyte and love it 43" is great for gaming as it has the same pixel density as 27" 1440p. My only complaints are the response times on the VA panes can be a bit slow but other than that its great to have a massive bright 4k display. I used my QN90A as a monitor for a bit but found 50" to big still makes a great TV for movies.

    Hey I'm with you, man. When I'm working or playing I do not want to have to worry about OLED burn-in if I've had the monitor on for too long or if is it too bright if I left it on when I go to the toilet etc etc...

    Sitting close to a 32" TV I´ve used as a monitor degraded my eyesight quite a lot, went back to a 24" on armslenght distance. Parker Walbeck did it okay, looks like it´s about 1m away that should be okay.

    Very nice screen, I bet games look damn fine on it.
    I use a 65inch lg c2 with a corsair lapboard wireless keyboard and mouse combo.
    Perfect for gaming on the couch. And streaming from my plex server.

      I have the Lgc1 55 in tv. When i game in 2k vs 4k i see no difference because i sit far enough away. I stick with 2k because i get much more fps and i get to use ray tracing as well. I also use the 3080 10gb and the 5800x3d.

    Thanks for uploading! Are you using input 3 or 4 to plug your pc into? Isn’t input 4 the only one with 4k 120 vrr support? Thanks

    • @HardwareAccent
      @HardwareAccent  Před 6 měsíci +1

      You don’t need HDMI 2.1 for 4k 120Hz VRR. You will need that if you want HDR and 4:4:4 as well. I get 4K 120Hz VRR while using any port, Radeon 5700XT that has 2.0 only and a normal HDMI 2.0 cable from my ps4. I use port 4 after upgrading my GPU.

    Does this allow for waking the screen from sleep by moving the mouse / pressing the keyboard, or do you need to manually turn the screen on and off, e.g., with a remote?

    • @HardwareAccent
      @HardwareAccent  Před 6 měsíci +2

      Unfortunately, you need to manually switch it on with a remote. Maybe some new models will do if automatically in the future.

      I’ve never measured it and it’s hard to tell when your head is changing position. It’s rather normal sitting position but by a slightly bigger desk. It felt weird only on the first day and feels amazing since then.
