      We'll be back the season after next, so we'll only be gone for a year ;)

      SpaceKeyBroken you’ve got a 2 year ban I thought

      @@Danimal13 Just the one thankfully - As long as we win next year in the championship we come back up. Think there was talk after next year for relegation and promotion to be scrapped altogether :/

    • @Danimal13
      @Danimal13 Před 3 lety

      SpaceKeyBroken I doubt they will scrap relegations and promotion, then there will be no success stories like Exeter unless they extend the league by 1 team because it’s pretty much guaranteed whoever goes down is coming back up anyway

    That drop goal decision when 8-0 down to sarries was very odd.

    How on earth did that 3:49 rucking go to carries, that was a quins penalty everyday of the week

      Totally agree. Considering itoje done the exact same thing and won a penalty earlier on

      Francois Valentin for holding on to the ball

  • @MrMultifunc
    @MrMultifunc Před 3 lety +10

    There was an offload that looked forward from saracens. And I don't know the rules 100% but how is itoje allowed to be infront of the kicker like that for the last try?

      Touched quins players hand, puts every player onside

      @@Coopz373 Itoje's pass looked massively forward though. This video didn't show any replays though so can't know for sure

      @@Coopz373 so could one teams winger sit on the oppo teams fullback, then tackle him when it hits his hands? Ie. Harlequins 10 kicks to saracens 15 but he is being marked by harlequins 14. That rule doesn't make sense to me..

    • @Coopz373
      @Coopz373 Před 3 lety +1

      @@MrMultifunc Took me a while to get what you meant; when I said it hits the quins players hand I meant 'touched in air'. The sarries player kicked it and as it was in flight going up it was touched by the oppositions hand in an attempted charge down. This put every player onside. This is not the same as if a quins player were attempting to catch the ball. Say the ball is kicked and DOES NOT touch the quins players hand, itoje is offside and even if a quins player catches it infront of itoje, itoje is still offside until put onside by retiring behind the kicker or kicker running ahead of him (there are a few other rules). So I think what you are suggesting is impossible, and even if it were it would be an easy tactic to dismiss - you don't want to spend the whole game waiting on one action when you're needed to do other things. Look here for more details laws.worldrugby.org/?law=10&language=EN

    • @Coopz373
      @Coopz373 Před 3 lety +1

      @@MrMultifunc So in short - no because he would be massively offside, unless in the rare (and shown in this game) chance he is put onside by the ball deflecting off a players hand after being kicked upwards, but this is a rare. There are however quite a lot of other ways to be put onside, if you follow that link - just know that to every tactic there is a counter and there is a reason you don't see anyone doing what you suggested :)
