No there's two versions of this song, I bought the CD Bad because of this song and it was totally different compared to this one which I like best. Thought there was only one but this one better.
to my ears, the best track off _Upping St._ that bass and percussion! as a yank, I don't believe I've ever heard this drier, stripped-down version. easier to hear the lyrics, that's for sure. but I miss the additional production.
This is the original version from the first US vinyl pressings of _No. 10, Upping St._ (later replaced with the shorter remix on all subsequent pressings as well as on all the CD and cassette versions). So damned slinky.
This is the best mix of HB and why they ever changed it I’ll never understand.
