One of my favorite vocaloids in synth v! ahhh it feels so good
Gumi it's amazing! I wish she had more power in her voice but vivid is just fine! her quality is amazing! and it's a breeze to tune!
I hope more vocaloids get into synth v soon (can't wait for miki and kiyoteru synth v)

@@CreativeStarletVocaloid B-Studio is like a private beta studio where you can test different vocaloids that may or may not release (or something like that, so i hope that helps ^^)
@@iolytt3also imo beta is still off? I have no idea but they sound kinda....off tune by default? And the engine noise isn't as charming as cevio's or V1.
I really miss the "neutral" tone of v2-v4
Honestly don't think YAMAHA cares about VOCALOID. They put no effort into it and the software peaked in the V3/V4 era.

I really love how this gumi synthv cover doesn’t sound “off” like some gumi synthv covers I’ve heard. I would genuinely not mind if I had to listen to this over than the original, it really is such a good cover. Good job!

The way GUMI sounds reminds me of how the cover with An from Hatsune Miku: Colorful Stage sounds.

Really good! The voice definitely sounds more realistic however, I’ve seen synth V’s Have much less power in them. The tuning was really good tho 😊

yeahh gumi’s synthv especially is very soft even compared to her v6, it’s a struggle to make her sound powerful at all

Did anyone else think that the lyrics were "someone help me please"? Not "someone tell me please" its crazy how much her english has improved here that I can start understanding the actual lyrics
This is beautiful but I will never get over how perfect the original is, how she speaks and sounds so robotic kind of fits with the song, good cover nonetheless :)

Good cover! Only problem I have with SynthV JP to EN cross lingual synthesis is that their ay and ey phonemes just… aren’t right? They don’t have enough ee at the end. Makes them sound kind of southern, almost.
Also yeah I agree, she needs more power in her voice. Her vocal modes are a liiiiittle pretty much identical lol
This is a problem with only some vbs, but I agree it can be annoying. One thing you can do is splice the phonemes together, for example [ay iy] or [aa iy] to create [ay].
I'm slightly disappointed with the way GUMI SV turned out but I also expected this since she's just ported from her V6. Hopefully she'll get updated with more singing data in the future

this is amazing and sounds sooo smooth, however I'm just to attached to the vocaloid original sound
I dont think blue gumi fits this song.... ngl i prefer the robotic qualities of previous iterations. You did a good job tuning her, maybe some tweaking with the audio or styles (idk if synthv has the same as vocaloid 6) might've been interesting but if get it if you just wanted to showcase her voice more than anything.
I hope she grows on me bc rn i have the image of "sometimes expensive things are worse" and in this case would be HD.

Synth v is free if you go with the basic version, you can try some of the free voicebanks they offer, I bought Gumi and other vocals in DLsite

Something, or several things actually, are just not... right, and I can't explain them in technical terms but I can at least tell you it's not even your fault.
Gumi pronounces “Mirror” with only one syllable in the original which sounds more like “Mirr”. That’s a regional thing so this version isn’t *wrong* but it does change the syllable count for that line which is probably what feels off
SynthV is clear, looks like a human and cheap, but it can lag.
All you did is make it sound more human
I’ll take that as a compliment?
