    Enjoying the channel. Tiger 1050 Sport rider here. One of the farms along Murrays Run Rd was the Hungry Creek motorcycle park back in the 70s and 80s. MX, Enduro, Flat Track etc. I was in Willoughby District Motorcycle Club at the time and there would be a weekend away there each year and that's where I had my first taste of offroad riding on my mate's XR75, an SL100 (basically an earlier XL100) that I borrowed and his dad's old BSA. I think the neighbouring farms didn't like the noise and dust and I assume got it shut down. You could also hire Honda Odysseys there. There's a bit of footage on YT of it, but none of the clips show the MX tracks which were pretty terrifying, esp the one on the opposite side of the road to the main property. Good times.

      A lot of history in Murray's Run. Some interesting news articles from back in the day, cattle theives, land disputes etc.

      Thanks for the feedback, that's encouraging. I almost paid for Relive. It is good because it does a route animation, but yeah I can't bring myself to pay a subscription for an app.

      Looking forward to the video on how many clicks clockwise or anti clockwise for the front suspension rebound and compression. I’m on a Tiger also and pretty sure I always stuff it up

    Great video, thanks for sharing this. Cool seeing some of the backcountry around the area, very pretty. The tiger 900 seems like the perfect bike for those types of rides.

    What Tires are you using ? I just got mine and deciding on tires now...50/50 but..actually will be closer honestly to..70/30 (road/off road) lol. Trailmax? Michelin Adventures ?

      Hi mate, i’m still using the stock Bridgestone Battlax Adventure A41 front and back.
      I’ve found them to be superb on the road and in the wet, and pretty good off road if it’s dry.
      Any mud and they are basically racing slicks.

    Do you have experience with the Tiger 850? Great videos!

      Thank you, I'm enjoying making them. A few more good ones coming :-)
      I don't know much about the 850, but I'm sure it's good. The modern Triumphs are all pretty well made.

    Hey 👋 nice ride. Just bought mine a month back . Any advise for reducing the vibration on the right hand. Or is it just me ?

    • @australianadv
      @australianadv  Před rokem +1

      I haven't had vibration in just one side, but the engine is not totally smooth like the older 3 cylinder models because of the new crank design.
      Can't give you any advice other than the usual of check tyres, balance, forks are tight etc

    Great North Road. Not peats ridge roads mate.

    • @australianadv
      @australianadv  Před rokem +2

      You're right, I always think of that whole length of road as Peats Ridge Rd because it starts off that way heading north.
