2-3 years ago at the youth cup final vs Forest, I went to the match and 2 players stood out so much that I rang my mate on the way back home and said these exact words: Mainoo and Garnacho will be 1st team players for us. I haven’t seen our academy ever produce a player so rounded and competent at almost every aspect of the game. We have a special, special talent on our hands!

Even if he doesnt get any better than he currently is, he would still be a starting first team player for over a decade. But hes still got 3, 4, 5 years of development still left. The sky is the limit for him, he could genuinly be world class
Love when he prove us right to all the doubters who don't watch him every week. Someone said to me becareful what you wish for and he will become a scape goat if he makes a mistake. All I said was, "Don't worry, he will be fine."

Watching the England game yesterday and I was often screaming at the telly “pass to Kobbie”. That how much confidence I have in this young man’s abilities. Kobbie will done things, that other players, can only dream about.
