    Excellent work. Ya you mind showing me you the stand you use I know it has to be on wheels but damm it rolls around good I would like to copy your design shoot a vid of it 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

    Your motor mounts look like they are broken or very tired, Noticed in the vid she ran better with the hood off, if the mounts are shot the gasket to the lower pan goes soon after. Then with the hood on she breaths her own exhaust making it very hard to get it dialed in, You are correct to suspect a coil as well. When I have a motor doing this I sometimes mist the power head with water & run it at night to see if there is any arcing going on. kodi

      hey. yes the mounts are in bad shape, talked about them on an earlier vid. they are at the bottom of the list of things i want to do to this thing. anyway something aint right, go from easy one start pull and smooth idle to hard start, poppin, missin, enough to drive you crazy! try and figure it out today. thx

    Wow that Johnson has dual sparkplugs per cylinder???? (love that typical OMC sound!!)

    • @THISOLDOUTBOARD1
      @THISOLDOUTBOARD1  Před 5 lety

      Hey. No its one plug per cylinder , I love that sound too ! Thx

  • @borisleonardoomanasuarez8066

    I have the same motor but the flywheel is like locked, I cant even pull the cord with two arms what should I do?

    • @THISOLDOUTBOARD1
      @THISOLDOUTBOARD1  Před 4 lety +1

      Pull out the plugs and see if it turns. Make sure its in neutral. If it does you may have had a vapor lock. Also check the plugs electrodes and see if they are smashed, if it is, your using a to long of plug and its hitting the piston. If this stuff dosent work, then your pistons are stuck in the cylinders or your gearcase is froze up. Let me know how it goes. Thanks

    My thermostat was stuck on my 75 25 horse Evinrude yesterday so my mechanic cut the top part out of it for a quick result and now the water just flows through the springs.

    • @THISOLDOUTBOARD1
      @THISOLDOUTBOARD1  Před měsícem

      Hahaha. Hey Clinton. Thanks for tuning in. It doesn't ! But I'm guessing, without going back and watching my video, that I said something stupid like that. Hahaha, if that's the case, probably said it out of frustration- Thanks again & Stay tuned !

    Wish I can get mine to start that easy. 10 billion pulls and it might start. Also half to give it a lot of throttle to get it to start.

      Hey. Thanks for tuning in. Check that OMC Service Bulletin video I did. Maybe you're having the same problem. Thanks again & Stay tuned !

    What size is that fuel line you replaced?

      THIS OLD OUTBOARD I have a 1972 Evinrude 25hp. Would the sizes be the same? I replaced the smaller fuel line from pump to carb and I got a 5/32 hose. But the big one from the fuel pump to where the gas tank hooks up is a 5/16?
