IKR, I was about to make a comment like that. So many CZcamsrs would come here and say it is all-natural and they have not done anything. She comes here and tells us the truth very refreshing. Ps her skin is beautiful.
When I got diagnosed with HSV 2 it was hell for me, had the worst days, Mental breakdown, crying not eating or sleeping either. I was restless looking for alternatives to get rid of this virus in my system. not until I stumbled upon a video on CZcams about Dr. Aloha’s Herbal Medication and how effective they are. I reached out to him through his email: Alohaherbalhome@gmail.com and followed the instructions given on how to use the Herbal Medication. To my greatest surprise, it worked perfectly and today makes it a month and two weeks of testing Negative to HSV 2 after making use of his Organic Herbal Medication. It’s so amazing regaining my health back to normal and ridding my body of Herpes. Thank you so much 🙏 You can as well Contact Dr. Aloha through his email: Alohaherbalhome@gmail.com or WhatsApp; +1(202)871-3222.
Dr V thank u for sharing your personal information, I watched all your videos, taken notes of all ingriedients, so when I head out always looking at the back to see wat we can and can't use, u are awesome, stay as beautiful and truthful as are, 😘😍🤗👍👏👏
Omg my sister bought some new skin care. I went through them and approved or disapproved them. It was hilarious. I can't believe I can actually understand these long ingredient list which I couldn't even read.

You've worked really hard to be where you are right now and it's great to see that you've got a support system to help you achieve your dreams... keep it up but don't be afraid to take a break if you ever need it. We'll still be here.

Hi Dr. V. I am from Haiti 🇭🇹, one of the sunniest 🌞 countries in the Caribbean😀.. I had never used sunscreen because I thought I didn’t need it as I have brown skin. Due to that negligence and unawareness, my skin has been drastically damaged..I just discovered your CZcams channel (October 2022 🤦🏾♀️) and I am amazed by the information you have provided on skincare. Just wanted to say thanks for all your informative videos! I'm a med student and it's great to see some evidence based information on dermatology for skin of colour! When are you hoping to roll out the training courses for doctors internationally? Would be super keen to sign up for that. Also from an immigrant family, and completely relate to your experience. Grateful for my amazing parents, family, and the sacrifices they've made. Really ups the pressure to make the most of the gifts they've given us, but I think the best way to "pay them back" is to take care of them, invest in our children, and in our communities. :) Possible video ideas: - Review of Dermalogica - Advice on how med students can educate themselves on skin of colour and how to approach it in everyday practice (GP, Derm, ED burns, etc) - Practical advice on how to de-clutter your skin care products, maybe a "top tips" type of thing. Thanks again for all the work you put into this channel!
OMG, same here. And all this time she'd remind me of this movie '2 States'. (Specifically, the girl from South India and the guy from Punjab), just that bit of the story. 😍
Such a funny video! Loved it! I was actually listening to this in the background whilst WFH. Cannot wait for your soc skin care line!!!! 🙌🏻 but in the meantime I’ll be using The Ordinary products that you recommended 🥳

So having products that you know that are right for colour of skin will be amazing, I cant wait. Please do a video on your skincare lind when you do launch it, as I do not use instagram, thank you.

I m a new subscriber of yours and I absolutely love this channel. Literally binge watched all your videos very dedicatedly! Bought so much right stuff in past one week and threw off many from my dresser (expensive ones too). THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ALL THE CONCERN AND DEDICATION.
YAAAS, Dr. V! I emigrated as a child; so I'm an immigrant AND child of an immigrant. I also totally agree regarding the impossible expectations that were put on me and I that I put on myself. It's definitely part of why we (and a high percentage of immigrants) tended to excel in academics and have a strong work ethics. Loved this video and getting some insight into how you work, what of your background inspires you. Merci!
Dr.V....yes, I came from an immigrant family too. I can definitely relate to your struggle. We have so much common. You absolutely deserve all the happiness in the world. Love and Prayers for you.❤️
Haha 100% relate to the 'huge Punjabi nose' part lol! Even my mom tells me that she's gonna have me get a rhinoplasty but my dad keeps telling her off 😂

Dr V i love your channel, I am a kenyan immigrant living in NZ. The topics and information you give us is amazing, and I totally understand what you mean about the pressure you felt and the work ethic it created. So relatable!
I love someone who is honest, professional, and with elegance. It is great that you spoke about your nose job as a doctor. The majority of the people get their nose job done. I wonder if it would work for me and have explored the idea! We can all improve it slightly! Beauty and confidence. 🥰
I canrelate to most of your work ethic and setting high expectations points. Could you please review the Avene skincare lime particularly the A-oxitive defense serum. Thanks
You remind me of my friend Preeja whom I lost forever due to cardiac arrest. She looked so much like you, the smile, style, face, everything. Earlier, I used to watch your videos just because of the resemblance. Then, I got interested in the content and now I follow your advice. Stay blessed!
Also raised by immigrant parents - You’re not alone! Totally understand the standards and pressure. Love your energy and your channel :) thanks for being so scientifically informative and positive all at the same time!
Dr V, I love your channel. It has helped me so much with my skin care as a black South African woman. What are your views on the use of facial brushes and derma rollers on melasma prone brown skin?
My daughter has great work ethics too. She works so hard although we don’t directly put pressure on her maybe she feels the need to succeed and do better in life. She did her GCSEs last year 2019 and she got a clean sweep of As and A*s ....she’s now in 6th form and still doing well 🙏🏽. I am an immigrant living in the UK.
Hi doctor. Please review bioderma brand. We dont have much fragrance free brands here in UAE... nice to know about u. Also Australian brand QV is fragrance free..please advise a nice moisturiser and sunscreen that is less toxic but available here .. love for u from dubai
Hi I am French so I know the Brand Bioderma very well and I am allergic to fragrance. Unfortunately like most French pharmacy skincare brands (Avene, Svr, LaRochePosay) most of their products have fragrance in them. Only a few are fragrance free so be careful.
@ Here Diana you are right. Even the dermatologists here dont fret and always recommend brands promoted in the clinics and prescribe anything with fragrance and other irritants. M glad I found bioderma sensibio gel wash it helped my acne skin and dont irritate much. I want moisturiser with SPF fragrance free considering QV moisturiser. What's your stance?
Happy to hear you are developing a product for children with pigmentation. My son has many canular scars and I have tried endless products over the last for years. until I watched your CZcams channel I didn’t realise I was probably making the situation worse with various creams that contain fragrance. Thank you for educating.
Oh my god!!! Dr. V!!! I am also first generation and my parents are from Kenya Punjabi!!! Lol I knew I loved loved your videos for a reason! I live in the US but I have tons of family in England. Well I luv your videos and next time I’m out there I want to visit your clinc for sure, thank you, for educating us ! Bina
This was really nice to watch. Its so cool your parents immigrated from Africa to England. Your life is sounding great and I hope that once your skin care launches you get to relax a little. Your honesty and love for your profession will get you to places! :D
Dr. V I also love bollywood movies, I grew up with it since I was in Thailand refugee camp. You are a beautiful human being, love the energy you exudes.
Hi dr r I love watching all your videos and so glad that I found you . I’ve watched your video about ordinary hyperpigmentation routine but it’s bit confusing is to how many products I need to use every night please recommend a routine for ageing plus hyperpigmentation thank you
Hi Dr. V. I was born in South Africa, my father was German and mom is Indian... I struggled with hyperpigmentation, never used whitening products thank goodness, since watching your videos, and using your expertise advice, I understand so much more about skin of colour now!! Thank you so much!!! Keep smiling and being your beautiful self!!! 🙏🏼❤️🌟🌻

Co-ask. Especially their tinted sunscreen.

If I may ask, what’s an alternative to the cetraben moisturizer you recommend as I can’t find it in the US
You can get cetraben on amazon. Also u can use cerave.
She suggests CeraVe Moisturising Cream (the one in the tub). I like the PM facial cream, because it contains Niacinamide but its not as thick.
Grace Jesulolu Thank you for clarifying !
Del good to know! I will definitely try Cerave. I’m a new subscriber and haven’t been able catch up on a lot of her videos yet. Thank you for the recommendation!

Immigrant from Kenya here. University/College is the highest privilege when your family comes from nothing and you don’t want their hard work going in vain.
