River Equine no, not really, Its just the sound.. They make sounds with the whipps to make the horses go faster, They dont really ship them that much.

The whips aren’t like normal ones, they are made of foam. It is mostly for noise and the jockeys get punished if they whip them too much. Someone said they got one and whipped themself with it, (no pause on that 💀), and they said it didn’t hurt at all.

They don’t hit the horses. The horses react because of the sound. They are only allowed to do this 5 times. Also they have to hold the horses back so they don’t waist their power. The horses wanna run that fast but are not allowed to until the last 200meters.
@arrowAFT I race, and you are right. I don't hit the horse all the time, most of the time I'm just showing the horse the whip to remind him that I've got one, and i will whip him. and I'm now allowed to whip the horse hard 11 times.

A horse with a broken leg doesn't need to be put down we have things today we're horse with broken leg and totally be saved and riding again but it would take too long and they don't want it to take long they need to make their money as soon as possible all they care about is money money money and it would take too much money to save the horse more than it's worth so that's why they say that they just need to be shot in the head
