Holy dang! I love emax! I’m one of the few weird fpv flyers who prefers the screen on the radio as it makes me dizzy wearing goggles.

Mad props to whomever composed this commercial's pseudo-Dark Knight soundtrack! (Not being facetious - it's fantastic)

Meanwhile in the real world the RC Aviation hobby is being destroyed by the commercial Industry and the 1 + Million RC Community members are mostly silent

Hey, havent been paying attention to the hobby for a while due to prices and no time. Mind explaining what you mean by this?

@@PMtoAM Well the FAA is restricting and regulating the hobby to the point it will be impossible to enjoy. Now you starting in Sept 2023 will have to have a Remote ID that broadcasts your location and information so everyone will know who , what and where etc. Plus they have stated you have to follow some CBO guides and depending on which CBO you follow you may only get to fly in some Club field location now called FRIA's etc
And all the tech and benefits the Hobby Community created and has enjoyed is not being allowed by Commercial companies and denied to recreational Hobbyists.
You can not fly FPV unless you have a spotter who has to see your aircraft the entire flight, or Line of site ( LOS ) for example and many more foolish rules. Beyond visual line of sight ( BVLOS ) is OK for commercial businesses but not allowed for hobbyists, and the list goes on and on
It basically is restricting recreational hobbyists from the sky while commercial drone Industry will be allowed to fly anywhere they please and at the moment many places are already testing and doing it
The Commercial businesses have said they need the airspace 400 feet and below to operate thus pushing hobbyists out as we are not allowed to fly anywhere else on the NAS but 400 feet and below and the FAA and Congress is insuring that happens . Basically ending a hobby and forcing Club field only flying ( something the AMA has been advocating for years /forced membership) and even then that to is limited and will end over time

@@FlyingBuzzard simply don't comply with the law. These regulations aren't well known enough for people to actually enforce them. Furthermore, the FAA doesn't have the resources to train law enforcement agencies to recognize this. Plus remote ID modules are still too large to fit on your standard 5 inch quads. Who's gon stop us lol, as long as we stick with the basics we should all be ok.

    • @FlyingBuzzard

@@sethenewman4309 I agree, but I say it is NOT a law to start with. It is a suggestion and an assumed regulation outside the FAA's Congressional mandate to them which their authority is in "navigable airspace" only and we all know it's limits and it's exceptions and NONE of them exclude or includes flying model aircraft/drones/quads below those minimum altitude limits
And they authorized local law enforcement to enforce LOCAL drone Laws first and only contact the FAA sometime afterwards unless it involves manned aircraft .
Most states laws are simplified and does not prohibit drone flight at all, most just say do not fly on another persons private property without permission and do not film them and many states have No drone laws, so yeah they passed any authority to the states local law enforcement and said so in their own FAA video here czcams.com/video/QSmYPPRPKS4/video.html
