I can’t wait to go stage 2+
DP next up! Car sounds amazing🔥
Also get an aos. It puts back the oil into your engine instead of the intake. A catch can just catches your oil and you’ll lose that. Highly recommend the iag aos
Yah I plan on doing an AOS or catch can at some point its possible a Mishi radiator. I recently walnut blasted my valves my self with my media blaster but im going to do it again before i install an AOS just to get the most out of it.
a fellow connecticut subaru!! i know that tunnel!!!! love getting up into hartford love driving rte 2, cant wait to start building mine! wr met blue pearl wrx 6mt 2020 with a mirrored broke banner on the windshield. ill keep an eye out for ya! would love to hear and see this in person!
downpipe and dyno tune from stock is the best upgrade ever on these
absolutely. Best i can so is an Etune around here which i am doing as we speak lmao
@@wideopenthrottle_tv same. Who’d you choose for the etune?
@@JayBleezy93 Bren Tuning out of Mass. been running it for a few months and absolutely love it
Get that flex man..
@@nikesbeast ugghhhh i 100% would if i didnt have to drive an hr one way.....but maybe in the future
I have a 2017 Wrx. Invidia catless down pipe and a tomei cat back. I love how loud it is. Save you money on a cat back it all sounds the same after you do a down pipe lol. Live the content guys keep it up!!
Thanks man. Appreciate it
I've never laughed so hard in the first few minutes subscribed!!!! I also own a WRX!!!
haha glad to hear!
Did you have any problems with this jpipe throwing codes since the catt is after the rear o2 sensor
not one single code. even when i was running the OTS map
Very nice. I’ve been stage 2+ for about a year now..it’s been great. No issues. Just loud. I have a resonated mid pipe from Remark on the way. Hopefully it makes it a little more quite.
AlbinoREX so this was filmed a few days ago. its sounds so cool and is very aggressive, but i couldnt deal with it cruising down the high. so i just installed plm resonated mid pipe and the tone is alot quieter and deeper. Our next video is gonna showcase it 👍🏽
@@wideopenthrottle_tv what axle back did you have? Just curious. Will be interesting to see how it sounds compared to yours.
AlbinoREX i "had" an m45 axle back to a stock mid pipe but now im full 3" out the back with a SRS axle back
Do you have a catback?? Or just the down pipe with stock exhaust?
it. had a stock mid pipe with a muffler delete
What version of stage 2 are you running? Is it the v4?
the accessport is a V3. i was running v361 but no longer as i am now protuned
Can you run a Cobb ots map w a different brand jpipe ?
On their website if you go to the tunes, they will give ones that can work. Off the top of my head Grimmspeed and obviously cobb will work. Mishimoto might work but you need to check and be 100% sure
Do you need 2 gaskets for the mid-pipe adapter?
For it to work, not necessarily, but it would be a good idea.
@@wideopenthrottle_tv does the stock donut gasket work?
@@RaidsVFX if you can take it off without damaging it, yes, but that’s almost impossible. Mine was destroyed and I tried to keep it intact
@@wideopenthrottle_tv my car has really low miles and hasn’t seen the snow yet so maybe I can give it a try
@@RaidsVFX if that’s the case you should be able to reuse it
I'm going stage 2 and I was wondering will it pass smog with that j-pipe?
indeed it will
Thank you so much
@@rivera970 no problem!
I’m ordering my catted jpipe to pair with my ets extreme (no mufflers or resonators). I’m so excited!
Gonna sound nuts. Have fun!
John you got sound clips
@@josecarlosramirezrumbo52 Yeah I have this setup rn. It sounds insane ngl. Definitely on the louder side😅
@@FrozenEpidemicyou got sound clips of that setup anywhere? I wanna hear it before I decide. Have the same exhaust with a grimmspeed intake.
What catback do you have?
In this video it was just a stock mid-pipe with a muffler delete
where did you get the tube for this?
you mean the exhaust?😂
@@wideopenthrottle_tv oh damn my bad bro i meant tune🤣
@@Alvarado.17 lmao all good. its just the stage 2+ OTS map that comes on the COBB accessport
@@wideopenthrottle_tv how was the car holing up with the ots tune?
@@Alvarado.17 i mean it was fine, but it was 1000x better when i got it professionally tuned
What exhaust?
In this video, the car just had the grimmspeed catted J-pipe, stock mid pipe, and m82 axleback
Stage 2+ is with an aftermarket tmic ain’t it? This would just be stage 2 no?
no 2+ is the intake combined with the DP. But a new tmic is on the to do list and is a good idea
@@wideopenthrottle_tv If you go to MAPerformance website, it shows their stage 2 tune is for intake and downpipe. Stage 2+ is used for intake, downpipe and tmic. Going to put on my downpipe tomorrow and just downloaded my stage 2 tune onto my AP.
Car sounds good though man, liking your content.👍🏼
@@danielo22 Thats awesome! but thats MAP's tuning. Cobb's stage 2+ is without the top mount
@@wideopenthrottle_tv oh shoot, ok. Thought it was the same across the board with stages and tunes. Good to know.
👍
what are the other mods aside from the j pipe?
a good amount... this is whats done to the car CURRENTLY (not in this video)
-COBB Accessport
-Bren tuned Stage 2+
-ProcessWest Verticooler (highly recommend)
-Boomba Stage 2 Catch Can
-Grimmspeed charge pipe and 3" J-Pipe
-Whiteline crossmember bushings
-Perrin Transmission brace
-PLM resonated mid-pipe
-SRS 3" axle back
-Cobb big SF intake
-Perrin recirculation valve
-Clutch Master fx-250 clutch kit
-ACT streetlight flywheel
(These are just the bolt-ons and not cosmetic)
Nice burp
How are you downshifting so fast? lmao
