I like that you let your kids exist while you film, so many moms on CZcams would go out and yell at them to shut up and be quiet for hours while you work so the mic doesn’t pick them up. Nothing wrong with hearing kids having fun in the background! I’m sure it cuts down on stress for everyone to not be super strict about noise during filming
I love that you let the kids be kids. This is how all of is DIY’ers do our nails! With kiddos in the background, slamming cabinets, spilling drinks, etc. nails are my therapy too!

I recently started watching your channel. I have always been into nails. A couple years ago I decided to stop getting them done, because it 1 would ruin my nails, salons I went to all over-filed my natural nails, and they suffered. It took me about 2 months to grow out all the damage. Second reason I started doing them myself is SAVING MONEY! I had bills to pay ladies, I know you understand that. My kid was going to trade school in a year, so I needed to save money! I don't think pretty nails should only be for people who have disposable income. We all deserve pretty nails. Anywho, I have been using nail wraps for almost 3 years and want to up my game. So, I recently purchased gel polish and nail stamping plates and polish. I appreciate you, Evie, and others on the CZcams who help us DIY nail enthusiasts learn. Thank you for making me laugh and learn I enjoy your videos. Whoever said they were not impressed with your skills can F off! Please keep being yourself and making these fun to learn videos.

I’ve been doing dip nails most of this year and I think I’ve finally found my groove. I put on some gel x dupes and then powder dip over them. I love the flakies and foil possibilities with dip powders, and for me it’s been easier than polygel I did the last couple years. You’re such an inspiration, Evie! You’re the reason I do my nail’s myself!
The hack for the swatch pops is awesome! Those gels look super opaque and creamy and the powder blue would be perfect for Easter! Also your enthusiasm is sooo addictive. Making me want to do nails again 😅

Can you please please please go over the ingredients in any gel products you get? That information is SO IMPORTANT for a review of gel polishes, imo. It would help so much 🥺 especially cause so many sites don't publish their ingredients but you can see them on the package for the review. ❤

I use polygel, and yes your Patty Gel! I have a small home and tried acrylic and omg my house was filled with that monomer smell forever! It was not good!

I like to do acrylic once in a while but I prefer poly gel and now I’m really into the gel X method with the builder gel like you said it’s just easier and it doesn’t smell as bad I know on my channel that you’ll see a lot of polyGel and I like to have the extra time to work on it. It doesn’t dry as quickly as the, acrylic does and I agree because I’m a DIY girl myself I’m self taught and I’m still learning and you’re right about those negative comments it’s like come on give me a break

Girl, I am not really NEW to your channel, and I don’t know why I thought you had a little home salon for nails. For not going to school for it, you do great in your artistry from what I have seen. But now that I think about it, if you DID have a salon, it would cut into your time making these great videos, so that’s a win for all of us watching that do our own nails too, and come to you for inspiration.
