Session 9 of the series on 'Master Class in Audio' where we have two colossi - ex Nasa scientist Ron Sauro and renowned studio designer John Brandt talk on acoustics with perspectives on architectural spaces both large and small. Ron talks about the cutting edge work done at NWAA labs and pushing the boundaries of the physics that we now know.

Let's hope that in the next video they can fully detail what is related to that 4" porous absorbent panel (made of 2 2" sheets and each one with a different density) with an absorption coefficient of 0.8 at 80 Hz
What has been said about Sabine's formula for small rooms is another issue that could be explained more fully.
