I thought it wouldn't work at first, but tapping the nearest edge of the rope with a modern ax or tapping the very far end of the edge will work. Works very nice on v33002. thank you for the good video

Now I can resume my giant lodge in the shallow water of the ocean bay near the survival raft. Great fishing and totally secure, cannibals and mutants won't go into the water and the ocean bay doesn't freeze in the winter.

An easier thing to do is simply make a log collector, save, go into the game code for item 78, and change the count to 999. When you log back in the log collector will have 999 logs in it.
if that's what your doing why dont you just use cheat engine?

if the tree has those leaves or moss growing on it it wont work but you can remove the leaves with the knife without damaging the tree
The fastest way is to edit your save file. Just find where is your log holder and change the amount to 999 and now you have almost 1000 logo at your disposition. Whenever you need.
I also found that when you can't spam the 'scrap' button, you can still whack each corner for more logs before you reload :)

Endnight stop patching log dupes. I enjoy building not chopping trees for hours. I'm willing to sacrifice som immersion for my sanity

throwing a grenade or a time bomb at the tree its on will make it break. the building thing is still there tho

I still can't get this to work, so I'm a little confused.
EDIT: Nvm, the tactical axe wouldn't work for me so I switched to the machete and it worked wonders. Thanks!

Why bother with glitches when you can just mod it?
Mods don't work on GeForce Now. If you can't mod, this dupe glitch is the only way.

I couldn't make it work when you posted the last video and I cant make this one work. this doesn't work. I'm replicating it exactly with no results.
Some people are born with to many chromosomes and won't be able to do it. You seem to be one of those.
Click on "options" then click on "gameplay".... you will be able to turn on damage to buildings.
If damage to buildings is turned off the glitch won't work.
