I can't believe it's been 20 years since John Ritter passed away. Watching you go to his grave site and place those flowers really hit hard, brought me to tears. He was such a special person. I adored him in Three's Company, one of my all-time favorite shows. Thank you honoring him for all of us.
Adam Thank You for all your travels. We get to go to some places some of us may never go or may want to go to after we see your streams John Ritter made us laugh, He is gone too soon.
Thank you for remembering John Ritter. Three’s Company has been my favorite sitcom since the 80’s and I originally found your channel after you visited several locations from the sitcom years ago. I subbed immediately and have taken the journey! I am not exactly what it is, but in a way, there is something about you that reminds of John. Thanks for pouring so much effort in your videos.
I LOVE TRAINS! That is so cool. What a cool place. I also watched Three's Company a lot when I was younger. Loved it. RIP John-Ritter. I still find it so heart breaking for his wife. Adam, that is so touching to see you bring flowers. So kind. Thanks for bringing us along.
Hey Adam! My wife and I met you in the elevator yesterday (Monday) on our way to breakfast. Super cool guy. I was a tad struck with nervousness cause I’ve watched you nearly every day for like 10 years. I even showed her the BTTF spot in the structure cause you made it known to me in a few videos. Thanks for all you do and you continue to help people remember that there are amazing things everywhere. You encourage me to always go out and do these things and explore. Thanks! Oh and you’re doing great on your weight loss journey! Keep it up.
Thank you, Adam, for stopping at Forest Lawn. I haven't been there, but cemeteries are the most peaceful places to visit and reflect, and I appreciate you stopping there.
Really great video. I've always loved that you still hold a place in your heart for John Ritter. I, like many, was devastated. When I go to watch Three's Company I start laughing just reading the episode description. Him and Don Knots were some of the best duos.
Went on several school field trips to there in the late 70s early 80s. These videos bring back good memories of a special place. Another good job Adam, bet if you had gone there as a kid you'd love and respect it even more than you do now. 👍👍
Really great video and a lovely idea to get some flowers to take with you ❤ The murals are impressive! That was a beautiful moment with the deer gently wandering up to the flowers and looking up at you. I liked the guy making the announcement for the train too lol 😊
I love Travel Town. I ride one of the 3 Griffith Park trains at least once a month, and it's honestly one of my secret favorite things to do in all of L.A. Also both of my parents and many loved ones are at that Forest Lawn too, so I know it all too well. My aunt worked at the hospital and she was there the day Ritter passed. I think I'll go pay him my respects this morning too. Thanks for covering my SoCal Woo 💚✌️
60 years ago, my mom, sister, and I rode a train from Evansville, IN, to Los Angeles to reunite with my father who had gone out there a few months before to find a job. We stayed there for almost 10 years until mom became homesick for her family. We did make several trips back east on planes, trains, and automobiles. Whenever I smell diesel exhaust, my mind takes me back to that first train trip. Thanks for the memories.
22 years ago yesterday, every year it comes around, i think of those trapped and frightened, and the bravery of those firefighters Adam, will never forget that day
I will say that you are one of the best at the medium you do. You are able to express the emotion of the moment in a way that makes me feel it as I watch. That is a something I like and worth every penny you are paid.
Thank You Adam for sharing with your viewers what others would have kept to themselves if they wanted some alone time. It moved me to tears😢 May God Bless You ,my friend.❤
John Ritter was so great and funny. Can you imagine him still entertaining us today 20 years later? He wasn't just funny. He was a genuinely good person that was loved by millions. I do miss him.
Woo 22 years ago we were at WDW when everything happened. I was shaving in front of the Today Show on tv and the reports started coming in. We went to Animal Kingdom and went on Safari and were in our seats for the tough to be a bug show. A cast member came out and said “due to events in the world today the park is closing please proceed to the exit”. Everyone was stunned there was some nervous laughing and he repeated the same message. It was eerie walking out of the park what talking there was, was in hushed tones. Never will forget
Never get tired of your SoCal adventures.I share your enthusiasm for L.A.I actually feel excited just being there even after 50 years of visiting and living in the area.
I learned something new today about The Woo! I also worked at OfficeMax. Also your parents raised a very good man! Love John Ritter. A big part of my life as well. RIP Mr. Ritter
I lived in Los Angeles for 52 years/now I live in southeast Virginia but you made me remember when we were in grade school we would take field trips or travel town. This was in the 70s/you made me miss my former hometown of Los Angeles.
Love your iconic LA videos and sharing history and Train Town was a weekend stop with my parents when I was super young have pics in early 1970’s and because of those memories I picked up miniature trains as a hobby!
Hubby and I long, long time followers of your adventures.... we have always wondered, knowing how much you appear to love trains, why you have never done a full fledged train adventure. John Ritter was hands down just the best! Thanks for sharing. Lovely view of the doe enjoying a floral treat.
As always, I enjoy your videos. I seem to recall an incident a few years back at Griffith Park where you sustained an injury whilst riding a train. God's to see you come away today unscathed. Thanks for the 9/11 tribute as well. Never forget.
Good morning Adam 🌞 😊 this looks great Griffith Park the old trolly and to never forget John Ritter, 😢 this is awesome 😎 thanks for sharing this. Stay safe 📸
Wow Adam what a cool adventure I never knew that train station was there 😮 I loved it ❤ I grew up with trains as my father was a train fanatic. So Thankyou for going there❤ Forest Lawn cemetary and is amazing as well . Thankyou for paying homage to John Ritter and talented man for sure. 😊😊😊😊 I couldn’t beleave that deer wasn’t afraid of you . I think your an Animal whisperer . ❤❤❤
John Ritter was born at St Joseph across from the Walt Disney Studios. Fell Ill suddenly at the Walt Disney Studios on set, was pronounced dead at St Joseph’s and is buried at Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills, all of which you can see from each location.
Yes, we all remember where we were when 9-11 happened. RIP to all who died and condolences to their families. Love the trains and anything Griffith Park.
I’m glad you visited John Ritter’s grave. A few months ago when I was getting ready to move out of state, I decided it was about time to do something I’d been planning to do for years… visit the grave of Buster Keaton. I’m a huge fan of his films. And I noticed on the map of the general area where he was buried that there were some other favorite comedians… Marty Feldman, Stan Laurel and John Ritter. Well, there were things left on each of the other graves, but it was so sad to see nothing on his. I didn’t have anything to leave, either… I’d gone there with the idea of leaving a flat hat on Buster’s grave but the signs there said not to leave anything like that, so I took a photo and took the hat and donated it instead (it’s not my best one). So I just took a few minutes at John’s grave and moved on. And I also was asleep when the towers got hit. But I was on the west coast and slept in, so when I woke up I tried to call my husband as I often did in the mornings and had a hard time getting through. When I said as much he kinda softly asked if I’d turned on the tv yet. I think he knew the answer to that but when I said I hadn’the advised me to do so and we hung up. So I sat there on the floor, 8 months pregnant with a preschooler running around me, watching what turned out to be replayed footage because by then, the towers had already fallen. I still had the same experience, though, because I turned it on and saw the first building spewing smoke. I remember thinking, “Again?” because someone had bombed the WTC at some point in recent years. Then I saw another plane fly in and hit the second tower. I think we all spent the next weeks and months in shock. There was this really sad song, “I am Overcome” or something like that, and I dunno if it was about the event or just seemed to be, but I kept hearing it and it started kinda freaking me out… heard it playing in a store and had to leave it. It was all just pure trauma for so many people.
You always seem to surprise me! As a native Californian I never knew about this place we would go to the Griffith horse arena for The cutting events I had no idea about this! Now I want to go home just to visit maybe feel the Santa Ana winds of October thank you for sharing
Very very cool video, they have a transportation museum here sorta like that place here in Spencer NC, trains turn table the railroad used, planes, it's very cool piece of history, old train yard turned museum
Back in 2003 I got tickets to watch a live taping of 8 simple rules and I was so excited because I was finally going to see one of my childhood idols John Ritter in the flesh, but then I got a message that that week's taping was cancelled due to his death and I was so sad and dissapointed
This was a fun video Adam, thank you... I love 20 mins from Griffith park and need to visit again. You ought to check out DINAHS CHICKEN IN GLENDALE. San Fernando rd. Wo derdul history of the Pearson family for 50+years making great chicken and other tasty items
When you come to St. Louis (for the Rays/Cardinals game), you MUST go to the Museum of Transportation. It has almost 100 full trains on display, the place is HUGE!!
Another great video. Have you ever thought about taking and documenting a long multi state train trip? Like a long amtrack trip or somthing. We are planning our first trip ever out to the Los angelas area in November. Definitely adding this Griffith park stop to our list of possible things to do.
Blood on the Saddle is my favorite part of Country Bear Jamboree, & I like it even more knowing it's Tex Ritter, John Ritter's dad, who sang it! I'm really sad they are changing the show, as well. Hope it doesn't have the same outcome as Disneyland's Country Bear after they changed the show. That was the beginning of the end for that show, & I fear the same will be true for the Magic Kingdom show. Glad I got to see it this past February when we took a trip to WDW! 😊
Love that park! I have never been there. I love trains! I went up to Fort Bragg and rode the stunk train. It was so much fun! Thank you for another great video! Wow forest Lawn cemetery is so beautiful. John Ritter was such a great actor. RIP to John 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
I think the deer eating the flowers is sweet, they don't just wither and rot, they are food for nature and I love deer, PS I would be more interested in buying the flowers knowing they were food for the deer
Always enjoy "The Daily Woo"! To add some history, the paint scheme on the park miniature locomotive is called the "daylight scheme". A popular passenger train from back in the steam days of the Southern Pacific, a long gone railroad that was in California. I loved the trip into the cemetery, it always amazes me at the memorials erected to Lincoln. The quotes they put up that he made about government, when Lincoln used the federal government as a 2x4 to beat the Liberty out of the individual person, the states, and the Constitution. I love my country, but sometimes we just think so backwards. Thank you Adam!
You should take the LA Metro subway/light rail around to some fun spots you haven't shown before. Now that would be a train adventure! Or take the Amtrak Pacific Surfliner (Lots of Santa Fe Railway history on that line) down to Orange, or San Diego County or the Metrolink. An Amtrak journey would be cool to see!
I can't believe its been 20 years were getting old all of are childhood stars from the 80s and 90s early 00s are disappearing now we appreciate life more as we get older closer to death
There is California Western #56. I have video of this engine fully restored being moved from Petaluma to The Southern Pacific for transportation to this Museum! You can see CZcams at Black Butte California 1993 NOVATO DUMP ROAD NOVATO DEPOT IGNACIO WYE. You gave a very NICE TRIBUTE TO JOHN RITTER. I love the flowers that you left. You remembered him on the 20 th year. Nice. I remember being shocked that John Ritter passed away. He seemed SO young !
That was really cool of you to go to John Ritter some flowers and pick some respect. Are used to watch threes company with my dad when I was younger. Thanks Adam. 😎
Wonderful video, Adam. Very kind of you to leave flowers for Mr.Ritter. I also grew up watching him, he seemed like a genuine soul. Also to note, in regards to Lincoln's comment on Government. I think many, many decades worth of politicians have forgotten their true purpose.
If you like old trains, there is a Museum in Perris, California, In Riverside County. The Southern California Railway Museum, its been 25 years since I have been there. We walked through parlor cars, funeral cars, and many more.. It was a fun time
I can't believe it's been 20 years since John Ritter passed away. Watching you go to his grave site and place those flowers really hit hard, brought me to tears. He was such a special person. I adored him in Three's Company, one of my all-time favorite shows. Thank you honoring him for all of us.
I grew up watching the guy and he was always a delight.
I'll tell you right now, if the Beatles were right, John Ritter took a LOT of love with him!
The trains were really cool too!❤

I like that the deer quietly saunters up to nibble on the flowers. Gives the memorial area a pleasant link to nature.
thank you so very much for a place that I love so very much good night

John Ritter is such a legend in my eyes! Three's Company is my all time favourite classic tv show.
Brings back memories! As a kid in the 70's, you could climb all over the locomotives, no safety signs, no do not enter signs, good times back then!
I climbed all over those trains in the mid 60's.
Beautiful...honoring❤

Thank you. A great reminder to us all of how transient our lives are...and how precious freedom is.

Wow - that’s a memory. I loved him as a kid as well. His death was such a shock.
Love this kind of vlog Adam, so informative!🎉
John Ritter, this summer just saw the carousel at Santa Monica from Three Company intro reminded me of him. John Candy was hard for me
What I believe was a silent tribute toward the end of your video was very powerful. Thank you for that. I really appreciated it. 🇺🇸

Great video. Thank you for the information. It is good to remember those who have gone. ❤️ The deer is eating the flowers!💐
Very nice.

Just want to say thank you, Adam. Appreciate your great content.
As a child I lived down the street from the Tam O'Shanter, going to Travel Town and the Griffith Park pony rides were part of my childhood
Hard to believe he has been gone so long, what an amazing actor he was.
