    My hair (medium-fine, very loose, natural color waves) has an absolute love affair with Curlsmith Hydro Flexi Jelly. I NEED that big bottle! Your videos are so helpful that even though I never wash at night, I still had to watch. Also, your hair is always positively stunning! 😘

      Do you really manage to finish such a big bottle of 12oz within 12 months? I wish they'd make smaller bottles than 8oz even because there is no way i can finish that bottle within a year. And i only use about 2/3 other different gels because i hate to throw away products (and money) and wash a max of twice a week, most just once a week...
      How do you manage finishing your products before it's expiration date. With Curlsmith as with most it is only 12 months.

    I always brush style (although very fast now) as raking tends to leave my hair meh, but I hadn’t seen that technique of creating clumps and tension before so will have to give that a go! I bought the curl jelly refresh after seeing a video of yours and it’s become a staple in my refresh routine (leave in with water rubbed together in hands, glaze and scrunch and then same with the UG curl jelly). So unbelievably fast which is much appreciated on a work day!

    I’m a night washer. I can’t be bothered with waking up several hours early so I have the drying time. lol. I do break the cast mid-diffuse which helps the drying time. But then I diffuse a bit more and then finish by air drying and let the cast form again. I sleep with some crunch either with a buff or bunapple kind of like hanzcurls.

      Haha yeah I would always choose night washing over getting up early 🤣

    Lovely and easy! Thank you for always showing us the best tips! I’ve spent years washing hair at night and twisting it into a French roll…wet! 😞 My hair would literally take 3-4 days to dry. I am so worried I’ve done permanent damage. I’m learning and treating my curls better. It’s been about 6 months and I’m very pleased with my progress.

    • @MarisasCurls
      @MarisasCurls  Před 2 lety +1

      Oh my, it definitely could do damage but not everyone’s hair reacts like that. So hopefully yours is ok and now that you know as your hair grows it will for sure grow in healthier 😃

    I rake my hair that same way! I've never heard anyone else talk about doing this, so it was great to hear you mention it. It works wonderfully for me...creates much better curl clumps than any other method I've tried. I have very fine, lower density hair so it's also a pretty gentle method to create clumps. Thanks for sharing all your knowledge and experience! You are lovely inside and out, and I always enjoy your videos.

      I think I first saw welshiecurlgirl on IG talk about doing it that way and it just makes so much sense! Thank you so so much for the kind words! 😍

    Hi Marisa, I’ve been using that Dyson attachment for a while now, love it. I know it goes against the majority but I prefer drying my roots towards the end and this works brilliantly for that.
    Loved your look in the morning and of course the back looked fabulous! ❤️

    If you have the patience to wash your hair at night, all I can say is wow. If I must wash my hair at night, I'm like screw it and just wash it and put leave in, cream, and oil, drape my long hair over my pillow and let dry overnight. I'll put some foam like the curlsmith foam or any other foam and scrunch that is as a sort of refresh without any stylers in my hair the next morning. Looks like beachy waves or just take a spray bottle with gel in it to dampen my hair and apply the gel at the same time. That or just not even bother styling

    • @MarisasCurls
      @MarisasCurls  Před 2 lety +2

      I either do what I showed here (usually if I won’t have time to style in the morning) or I just wash and condition and then rewet and style in the morning. But I wanted to make this video for those who always have to wash at night 😄

    I'm going to give it a go, I'd find it hard to scrunch out the crunch first though, I hardly get that so when I do it covet it.

    Hi Marisa. Have you seen the new Curlsmith hairdryer? I'm in the UK (Scotland) but have not been able to find it in the UK online anywhere, not sure if they're launching it here. Do you plan to try it out if you can get hold of one? Have a good day! x

      @@MarisasCurls I loved Debenhams, we had a huge one in our town for a few years before they went bust. Now it's just reopened as a mahoosive M&S. Working on my body confidence as a size 16/18 and want to find some nice dresses for summer for the office. Fed up of leggings and tunics. I've embraced my curls, now to embrace my curves 😁

      It just does 😂 I sort of push my hair down gently into it and it stays like that
