It’s really interesting to see a max timing of 33-34* in an LS, it must be because of the carburetor because a fuel injected LS only uses like 27-28* max. This is very interesting and helpful, I have a friend LS swapping a 1978 Cutlass; he has the MSD 6014 box. He’s starting with the stock 5.3 on the Truck tune, he hasn’t even tried the Truck HO tune yet. JD

More timing you gave it the higher it idled. Mine does the same thing. And it did get warmer quicker.

What cam are you running? Vacuum isn't too bad if it's not a factory camshaft.

BeeterOlds That's the bracket that the transmission cable and throttle cable connected to.
@@arireid1245 the truck doesn't have a kickdown cable cause it's a stick. I used Edelbrocks throttle bracket that goes with the Intake
