As much as i love this song and i really do, listening to this song always makes me think that it's too bad that Celestia and Luna were never given too many opportunities to sing throughout the run of the FIM series.
@@embodyingchaos06 Yeah, and both Celestia's Ballad and Luna's Future were literally the only solo songs those two ever got to sing, heck same goes for Cadence because if i remember correctly the only times Cadence got to sing was in This Day Aria and You'll Play Your Part.

@@embodyingchaos06 Yeah, in fact i wish the background characters were also given more opportunities to sing, i mean the only times the background characters got to do so was during songs like the Smile song and "A True, True Friend" and "Pinkie Party Planner"...sure the background characters were mostly there to provide additional musical accompaniment but at least they got to sing.
I liked how this song shows Luna and Celestina aren't just wise all-knowing mentors who have the answers for everything, but at heart they are just regular ponies like the other characters with normal desires.
Whenever I listen to this song, it conjures up a number of Super Mario Odyssey scenes in my head. Mostly because it’s about princesses going on a globe-trotting adventure after a lifetime of protecting their land

While i think the music in the last two seasons is probably the weakest in the series, this song is definitely one of my favourites. It's just so fun to see Celestia and Luna in this light, and even now, the concept of Celestia being the more tomboyish sister while Luna is more feminine is still great to watch.

Yeah, I’m surprised it took three seasons to hear Celestia’s singing voice, and four to hear Luna’s.
