You helped me with other CZcams adventurers. I had never been claustrophobic before in previous MRIs, but now I felt stuck. Egypt is one of the most notorious countries to enter and travel. But I entered through Cairo with Egyptian Visa, which was kind of smooth.

Brah, how many people have mentioned that Egypt is very bad at handling foreigners...EGYPT has lost its path, they don't like outsiders... There should be no one visiting the pyramids or anything... they truly hate everyone... so why should anyone visit Egypt....The best food review channel, went there a while ago, and had a dismal experience. Its funny, you get better experience in Iran or Pakistan...

It takes about 2-3K INR to get an e-visa. I've got active US, Canada, Schengen visas yet i still opted for e-visa to ensure that the airport immigration cant F*ck with me. Infact the agent helps you with an tour agency invitation letter too. (In case the immigration officer asks for it)
Not sure why would you risk such a thing by leveraging NZ visa of all the visas out there. Indian passport isn't welcomed anywhere on this planet and if you aren't cautious enough these things are bound to happen especially for an ill-managed place like Egypt.
You should ideally get the US, CA, & Schengen visas. Japan 5yr multiple is good too.
But you seem to be obsessed with visiting only the poor/developing nations, so good luck out there.

Egypt also had problem with Best Food Review Show Ever, I don't understand why so much trouble when you know tourism is big part of your country. After watching the full video, I did notice you mentioned that channel. He actually said that he might never go back to Egypt again.

I want to visit Egypt. I have valid UK visit visa and used it. I am in Saudi Arabia on visit right now. I have pakistani passport. Would I get visa on arrival or I have to get visa before.
I have traveled to Egypt many years ago on Pakistani Passport. This is a difficult country to visit. Every Tourist should apply for particular Visa of Egypt before traveling. Otherwise this will become a hell.

A seasoned traveller like you, should know better that you can not rely on internet in a foreign country and MUST always carry print out of rules written on different websites that said you will be eligible for egypt visa on basis of NZ visa. How come you can trust a VISA officer that they will understand your reasoning. I've seen immigration officers in INDIA unaware of recent changes of rules. I always carry paper copy of Visa, Rules, passport, tickets, hotel booking etc

If they want to deny entry, they will do so regardless of what printout you show them. Getting an Egyptian visa is the safer and more convenient option.
Getting turned away at immigration when you have a valid visa is very unlikely.
