Y’all are so certain he’s going to get $60 million elsewhere. Other teams have eyes too. 8 years in, he’s Kirk Cousins. He’s played with some really good players around him. Not perfect teams, but good enough to win some more playoff games. He’s never elevated the available talent. Only dumbass Jones’ thought WR by committee was a good idea, but that’s what you’re going have to play with at 30% of the cap. He did so much that they had to use a first round pick to help him out. Other teams saw that too. I could be wrong, they keep overpaying Cousins, but I think he has a better agent willing to take just under top of market so it always looks like a somewhat decent option. I say let him hit the market and see what he gets. It’s what we’re all wanting to know anyway. Have we been overpaying this whole time?
Absolutely not. If or when he hits free agency, then he'll see nobody is anxious to shell out 55 to 60 million a year. The league in general had screwed up the QB salaries and I think they wanna get it back under control.

Last playoff game: Dak was 3/7 for 27 yards when the packers were up 21-0. THEN, Dak throws a pick 6 with 1 minute left in the first half. Idk how you dont blame that loss on Dak.

Both sides lost the game ,
If one side plays to their potential we win , whether the defense had held it down for us ,the offense might have had time to get back into rhythm and not felt rushed being down 14-0 right away
Or if the offense was clicking and at its full potential, it could have been a shootout and I think a win if CD was on his game like he was all season
@paulettebrown, the defense can’t play offense. Dak only had 27 yards while the other team was up 30 points. Dak can’t play defense, but he wasn’t even playing QB. When the team is down 21-0 you CANNOT throw a pick 6…come on.

100% true, they forget that whoever they get as QB is still go have the same deal with same front office. It's a reason why any other QB'S hasn't won since 96 but I forgot Jerry and Stephen will always get a pass with no accountability, even though they been one of the worst football people for almost 30 years.
Because Dallas with Dak are just PRETENDERS! After 8-9 seasons in the league all the regular season accolades start to add up to nothing with every early playoff exit. You guys are too satisfied. Who wants to keep getting excited every year when deep down the know that no matter how good they look during the regular season, when the playoffs starts approaching it wont translate. They call that being a PRETENDER in the NFL. Also, most of the success is also coming from beating the division and average to below teams. Against the real top teams across the nfl, Dak and the team is still 95% likely to lose, and we know what happens in the playoffs. This is a young man's game. Dak has already reached whatever ceiling he has. What we also don't know is what other young QB could develop into something special when you at least don't try (Stop waiting to draft a QB in the later rounds). Dallas should give a young QB with lots of talent and upside a chance to develop into something and surround him with lots of talent. That's what the smart teams in the NFL are doing

Royce Freeman averaged 4 yards/carry last year for the Rams. At 238 lbs ..he's your RB2 behind Dowdle as the preseason kicks off. If Freeman can copy what he did last year - that is the contribution we need. Let the pre-season tell you how he's doing. Dowdle averaged 4.1 yds a carry last year .. so .. very close performance in that stat/class.
Freeman should get Zeke's carries, Rico is a jag, not natural in any way. A Injury waiting to happen.
@@Dougarony Dowdle's field/vision is excellent.. not a J/a/G. 4.1 yds carry was better than Pollard/4.0 last year. Health issues a real problem.. agreed.

@@Dougarony No.. Pollard broke his Fibula .. lower leg bone-That is all .. and just like breaking a wrist or arm.. 6-8 weeks and you're back in the saddle. In 2023 Dowdle averaged 4.1 yds/carry... and Pollard averaged 4.0 yds/carry= Dowdle had the better yards/per/carry average. Against the Giants in 2023 Dowdle carried the ball 12 times for 79 yards = 6.5 yards/carry. Those are the facts, look them up.
